I am employing this skin on an Illuminated black keyboard. The skin fits nicely. It's translucent, albeit, it is not as sheer as I would desire. That being stated, it is no more cloudy than I had anticipated.After lightly washing the skin with warm water and dish soap, I then thoroughly dried it with a blow dryer on very low heat. I then affixed the skin and pressed each key in an effort to expel any air pockets. The skin fits snugly and hasn't moved around at all, even when jostling the board from my lap to the bed and then to the lap table.The photos display the cover on my keyboard in a fully lit room. There are three photos depicting the keyboard with no backlighting, one with low backlighting, and one with full backlighting. As mentioned, these photos were taken in a fully lighted room during the daylight hours.

I purchased this keyboard cover for my Logitech MX Keys keyboard to protect my keyboard against dust, dirt, and natural skin oils. Based on product pictures and reviews I was expecting a few misprints, but everything appears to be accurate. (Honestly, I thought it would be funny to have a Carl key!)So far the cover is staying in place and although typing is a little different, I'm adapting nicely.Worth the price!Disappointing update: After less than a month of use the color is wearing off. So far the letters are still legible and it keeps dust and dirt out from under the keys, but it's not as aesthetically pleasing.

It fits the keyboard perfectly however, the F3-F7 keys are not correct. Not a huge deal, but I’ll have to mark them to remind me what the keys really are.

Works great , feels good to type on, keeps dust, cat hair and particles out.

This item has spelling errors. For “enter” it says “ebter “ and “ start” says “stort”.

Used mine for more than a year and so far no rips or degradation - not sure how the other folks are using their keyboard cover for it to tear like that, but likely you need to make sure your nails are trimmed, or just bear the cost of replacing these covers when they break (cheaper than a new keyboard!). It works great for its designed function- I accidentally spilled an entire cup of juice directly on the keyboard, and none of the juice got into the keyboard. I just wiped the juice off with paper towels, then took off the cover and rinsed with dish soap and water, and hung it up to dry. The keyboard was perfectly fine (thank god).

I really wanted to love this keyboard cover, but it just didn’t work for me. The thick material makes typing harder, and there was a strong plastic smell right out of the package. Also noticed a few key label errors, like “ebter” instead of “enter.” It’s a cute idea, but unfortunately, not the best quality.

Although this cover fits the keys very well, it doesn't cover the bar at the top of the keyboard. If a lot of liquid spilled onto the keyboard, some of it could flow to top bar that isn't covered and run down under the cover and into the keys. I was hoping the letters in the cover were translucent and would allow light from the backlit markings of the keys shine through but this is not the case. The tops of the keys are black with white markings on top so practically none of the light from the keys below shines through. The keys also have a lot more friction with your fingers than the bare keycaps and this changes the feel of the keyboard. Earlier reviews mentioned misspellings on the cover but mine is fine.
