Been perfect for my son to carry holiday essentials.

Okay, for a compact travel backpack to throw on for a day hike, this is great. It packs into its own pocket and takes up very little space in my suitcase. It actually has some padding in the shoulder straps, so that comfort should be good there. It has 2 pockets, one larger body pocket, and an outer smaller one. My only complaint, is that the mesh pockets on the sides (where most people put their water bottle, is not deep enough. My water bottle only sits about 1/3 of the way in and falls out. So, I will stash my water in the big pocket, and use the mesh for other things. Other than this, it seems to be made well and will be functional for me. I am only 5’1”, so the size is nice and compact…I think if one were really large and tall, that they might struggle getting it comfortable…the straps are adjustable, so this might not be an issue. The color and look is just as described.

I bought this for a trip where there would be a lot of touring and walking. It worked perfectly. It is very lightweight, but I could fit my jacket in it without any issue. This was the perfect size for just a few items that I needed to take along. I never had an issue with it feeling uncomfortable either.

It's a great size, weighs next to nothing, which is what I needed. I like the security pouch on the inside for my keys and other medical supplies that one would need on a day hike (tick remover, benadryl pill for bites, bandaids, itch cream, etc.). The pack is great for me as a woman, as I don't like to carry too much! I usually have 2-3 insulated water bottles and I thought the outside pockets would work. Not. But I've found a solution, I put one of the thermoses on the outside pocket so I can just pull it out instead of unzippering. Problem solved. The other one or two bottles have plenty of room inside the pack. I put tissues and a head net for bugs on the outside pockets and hand cleaner, and they work perfect for that. So not 5 stars because the pockets are too tight and not deep enough for their true purpose of holding large insulated bottles. But overall, highly recommend 5 stars for the appreciated weight of next to nothing and the amount of room inside for a small backpack. I even have a padded dish towel to help absorb any inside contents rattling around and providing comfort while on my back and use it to sit on the top of a mountain, and it fits perfectly inside. My hubs carries the lunch pack with a larger backpack for himself, so if you want to have lunch and icepacks, it's going to be a near impossible tight squeeze. Maybe I should have opted for the larger backpack, but I didn't feel it was necessary.
