I have acid reflux and really bad heartburn all the time. I take up to 7 per meal to stop the heartburn. You know you have taken enough when you feel a warm feeling in your stomach. I’ve had redness on my cheeks for a while - I tried a lot of stuff! One day I saw a YouTube video, and the person said they had TERRIBLE acne and extreme redness and they were told that sometimes that’s due to LOW stomach acid!Now that was news to me! I always suffered from frequent gas and bloating.So I thought, what the hay! I’ll try it!On another research, I saw someone recommend increasing as you go.... and when you feel a “slight burning” - reduce the dose.Presently I take 10 with my protein meal. Yikes! Guess my acid is VERY low.That’s MY number. Natural Factors Betaine HCL pills are great! The reason I love them is that they are affordable and great quality. The pills are a good strength and include fenugreek which is healthy for you. Also these pills are vegan which is amazing and the pill capsule is made from great ingredients. I really love this product and I wouldn't know what to do without it. HCL has helping my stomach so much with digesting food. Without it I get heartburn and indigestion all the time. I hope these pills never leave Amazon!! By the way if Natural Factors is reading this can you make a bottle that includes more pills so we don't have to order these as often. Thanks!

The betaine hcl wth fenugreek from natural factors is terrific. I’ve used it on and off for years. I don’t have chronic reflux or anything but occasionally I eat something that throws the stomach acid balance off for me. This always fixes it after just a couple of days so I make sure to keep some on hand. Betaine hcl, fenugreek, mastic gum and orange oil are my secret formula for ridding myself of acid indigestion and acid imbalances
