The quality of this item is superb!! This is my first time using night vision specs but the value for the money on these is phenomenal! The brightness was great and I could see some wildlife in the backyard (bunny and possum). The portability is great and would be good for hiking, camping, or hunting! The ease of use is great and the performance was next level!

The goggles are delivered in a strong hard case that has been custom-cut to accommodate all of the components in a tight manner. For the purpose of safeguarding the goggles and accessories, such as the rechargeable battery packs and additional SD cards, while they are being transported, the case is cushioned. The first impressions that were formed upon unpacking were really favorable; the goggles have a sturdy, high-tech feel to them while at the same time preserving ergonomic comfort. With the separate power packs, the lightweight goggles may be worn for long periods of time without causing any pressure on the neck. The visual quality was far better than I had anticipated. At night, the scenery is transformed into a sharp 4K resolution using the binocular-style optics, which have a view range of 100 yards. I was able to clearly recognize trees, rocks, and pathways that vanished completely when it was completely dark. The infrared illuminator that is included in the device enables viewing in settings when there is no ambient light, which renders the majority of night vision unusable.

This works surprisingly well for a product coming in under $100 with current coupon. The night mode without infrared illumination allows you to se objects at a distance you would not see with the naked eye in the dark. The infrared illumination mode is useful for seeing objects in detail closer up without shining visible light everywhere. Do note that the screen will cast visible light towards you, so don't expect to be a sneaky ninja anytime soon. I found button placement for zoom buttons to be a little counterintuitive at firse, but not difficult to adjust to. a rocker type switch for zoom would be a worthwhile upgrade for better control of zoom at night, but not a deal breaker at this price. Records to a standard microSD card, you any pictures or video you take are easy to access.

This is a combination of regular and night vision binoculars in one device.It has an internal rechargeable battery to power the various functions. The binoculars can record 36 mp photos or 4K video on a micro SD card.All controls are push buttons on top of the device. These include the IR enable and disable, video, and photo functions. There is a focus ring on one of the front lens barrels. There are extensive on screen menus to set up the binoculars to your needs.Once you hit the IR enable button, the change to night vision happens almost instantly. I was impressed that a room in total darkness was visible in IR with very good detail.Having the ability to shoot video or photos of what you are observing is a nice feature. Everything is stored on the micro SD card which is easily accessible through a side port on the device.The package includes a USB charging cable, but you must supply the power cube. A 32gb micro SD card, lanyard, and a User's Manual are included.I am getting poor battery performance. I have to recharge it after two hours of use -- testing the IR and switching back to normal, taking video samples, and photos.Every night I have turned the device off with 60% or more battery life remaining. When I tried to turn it back on 16 hours later -- nothing. I have to recharge it before every use.This would be a good product if the battery life was better. The record features and picture quality are very good. However, based on the performance I am getting, I can not say this is a good value for the cost. If battery capacity/life were improved I could rate this at 5. Based on my present experience, my rating is 3.
