LitterLocker by Litter Genie Refill

I am honestly so glad I got these LitterLocker refills. Our litter box situation was getting pretty gross, and I was so tired of having to take a bag of waste out to the bin every single day. This thing is a total game changer, tbh. The odor control is just amazing. These refills are seriously the best part of the whole system. The way they seal in the smells is just magic. I can go an entire week without taking out the litter, and you can't smell a thing. It makes life so much easier, and our house doesn't smell like a cat litter box anymore. I even have a friend with two cats who says it works great for them too. It's totally worth it for the convenience, btw. The only real downside is the price. The refills can be kind of expensive, and it feels a little like a printer ink scam, if you know what I mean. But at the same time, the fact that they work so well and make my life so much easier means I’ll keep buying them anyway.

Ideal as a pet owner, just scoop the poop from the litter box, we bag it and put into the litter locker box, ideal if you cant get out easily, no smell even after days, once full just remove bag tie it off dispose of and pull more of the litter bag out and tie the bottom off, close the lid and its ready, these replacement do the job, easy to fit and set up in the litter locker unit.

This makes it so much easier than using white bin bags that smell even when tied and put in my small pedal bin...purchased the litter bin for this at the same time and it keeps the smells in the bin too. . One tip? ..when knotting the blue plastic to start it off as a bag on the bin, pull out the knot you've made horizontally towards you and pull out a bit more than you think you'll need. When shutting the bin then, open the lid and put a rubber - gloved hand and arm inside the blue bag you've made to push it down to reach the bottom, and to open the bag now up full so that when you put used cat litter/poo in through the lid, it has enough space inside the bag to fall down to the bottom of it, to get the most out of the plastic bag...all in all these save me a lot of trouble, as I have Mobility issues and it has made life easier for me . I would definitely recommend these if you are fed up of smelly poo bags in you indoor bin! They aren't cheap, but I've found them to be worth the money in other ways.. have been using the same one since purchasing the litter bin for this item 2 months ago and the same cartridge is still going strong!

So the claims it'll last 3 months of you buy the XL one are a little bit inaccurate lol. So admittedly I have 3 cats and it's lasted me 6 weeks. So yeah 3 months is probably possible if you have a single cat, don't mind not emptying it every week and your cats poops don't smell but I put my cats poo in litter bags first and then in the bin to help with the smell but that smell it permiates so even with the extra barrier towards the end of the week when I open the lid and pull back the little slider door to access the main section, I can smell it. So yes 3 months is possible but not if you have more then one or a large cat or a cat who loves food lol. But I do love not going to the bin every few hours, so I'll suck it up and keep chucking my money away because convince genuinely is king.

Before I bought the genie litter box, I used to dump my cats (I have 2 adult cats) litter in a separate bin with a black bin bag. It used to smell so bad and I used to waste money on black bin bags. Also regularly washing the bin to get rid of the smell. I’ve now been using genie locker for 7 months. My first cartridge bag only ran out yesterday. I am stunned in how long this lasted me for 2 cats who are indoor cats also. I bought this extra cartridge 1 month after I bought the box itself because I was worried it will run out quick due to seeing people’s reviews. But to last me 6months+, this means I spend £9 every 6 months on a new cartridge which is great value for money! I’m delighted with this. To make it better, the bag is super durable and smell proof. Nobody can smell the cat litter when I dispose it, it’s so easy to dispose when each one is full and it’s super easy to get ready the new bag set using the same cartridge. I highly recommend this product to cat owners. It’s a life saver.

I would be lost without my litter locker. It holds the smell in so the house isn't overrun by the smell of my three indoor cats litter trays. The refills last a good amount of time and are easy to use when following the instructions

This holds around six months of poo, but we change it more regularly cut the bag at around two weeks, never once has the poo smell escaped the bag or have we ever had issues with ripping or it not holding well before reaching the bin. An essential for a flat and an indoor cat.

The plastic bag is very good at keeping in smells and so far hasn’t ripped at any time. Doesn’t last anywhere near the stated 3 months and the difficulty with this product is where the supply runs out at the ‘sensible’ price range and you’ll end up paying exorbitant prices. Even at the usual ‘sensible’ price it’s not exactly cheap for what is essentially an open ended long tube of plastic designed to be thrown away. Also, and this may just apply to my local authority waste collection but they won’t take a bin with the bagged litter waste in it unless it’s in a black bin bag. Guess that’s good for the environment; double plastic! The plastic cassettes weigh next to nothing but do take a fair amount of storage space. Sometimes you may end up grabbing the wrong end of the plastic sheet from the cassette and it won’t work well but it’s pretty obvious if you have common sense and fairly easy to remedy.

Sacchetti che davvero trattengono l odore anche per lunghi periodi. Non sono molto economici , ma imparagonabili a sacchetti normali . Quindi merita . Trattengono i cattivi odori e permettono di eliminare il sacchetto solo una volta pieno . Con i bel vantaggio di comodità .
