Have wanted these forever & finally splurged. They look great & worked for about 6 weeks. They each take 6 batteries which seems like a lot but worth it for my arthritis. Unfortunately the salt shaker stopped working. Dead in the water. Put in fresh batteries & still nothing . Was disappointed & contacted customer service who responded very quickly. They asked a few questions & very quickly sent a replacement set. The replacement worked great & ther have been checking in frequently. Would recommend ! Impressive Customer service. Love this product

This is an absolute superstar product and I can’t believe that not every household has this. I saw it first at both my uncles house and my friends house both in Germany and I was very impressed. It makes a very cool impression on the dinner table. When I ended up purchasing it for myself in the United States, my mother was so impressed with it that she bought it for every family member for Christmas. So now basically everyone has one! And everyone loves it!

UPDATED REVIEW: After posting my original review below, I honestly forgot about it. Then a few days ago, a very nice representative from the manufacturer named Rebecca reached out to me and offered to replace the damaged items. I told her that while I appreciated the offer, that I was hesitant because I did not want to potentially experience the same issue. Rebecca then offered a full refund for the shakers, even though it was after Amazon's time period. Overall, I am very happy with the end result, even though it was unexpected. Thank you for the great customer service!!! ================================================ ORIGINAL REVIEW: I purchased these expecting the ease of use because they were automatic salt & pepper grinders. They worked for a short time. Then one failed. Changed the batteries but that did nothing to correct the problem. I figured they were clogged up with product, so I went to unscrew the mechanism, only to realize that the 2 small screws in each bottle were completely stripped and I would not be able to open them up to clean them out. I became so frustrated with the product altogether that I just threw them out. Don't waste your time with these. I'll just look for better products going forward.

I am absolutely loving this grinder set! The gravity-sensing feature is a total game-changer being able to grind salt or pepper with just one hand while I'm busy stirring a pot is incredibly convenient.

I like the function and style of these shakers. Not too big, and has a plentiful reservoir. The pepper mill works good. There’s been no issues, and I’ve replaced the 4 AAA batteries only a couple times over a year. The salt shaker has issues that could have been foreseen and compensated due to corrosion issues. There’s a low quality plating on the battery connections, and it would require repeated removal of the cover to re-establish a good contact to where the shaker would stop working completely. The rust in the connection is not easily fixed, and you can’t take the unit apart to address it; without significant risk to breaking the housing. I only wish they would have better sealed the connections for battery box or made the plating a better quality -considering the significant salt-dust environment.

After reading several reviews and comparing with other similar items, this set suits me best. 1. it's single hand use so there is no need to remove any covers (like some other brands have) or if one hand is dirty from marinating, let's say 2. The capacity and bottle opening is large enough to refill without me plus it's not made of glass so no worries of breaking it accidentally. 3. The cable really is fast charging. 4. Comes with a slim cleaning brush. Going to recommend to my family and friends.
