Great help in connecting hose to a kitchen tap

This is such a great idea to help connect my hosepipe to my tap, simply screw this into your tap and connect your hosepipe adapter. No more water flying anywhere or hoses flying of the tap. Highly recommend this.

Solved a problem for me.

Very intelligent connector. Thread is on both sides, internally and externally. Very strong and solid.

I really had high hopes of this adapter, as I need to run a hose to the front garden from my kitchen mixer tap, and was hoping to be able to do it with minimal hassle. However, the hassle involved fitting this connector simply isn't worth the effort. In order for it to work, the inner tap thread at the 'spout' needs to be removed, and the connector screwed in its place. The risk of inadvertently ruining the tap is, for me, not worth the attempt. Of course, after use, the item needs to be removed and the original fitting put back on. I'm sure it will work brilliantly for some buyers, but unfortunately, not for me. I will be investing in a longer hose to run from the back garden outside tap instead.

If you don't have an outside tap or need to use hot water outside (me) then this is a fantastic item to own. Easy to install, solid and works perfectly.

I ordered this as I have a hot tub and need to replace the water every 3 months or so. Refilling it from my outdoor tap and then heating it up with the hot tub heater costs a fortune but with this attached to my kitchen tap I can now fill the hot tub with the water that has been heated by my boiler which is super efficient (when compared to the hot tub heater).It also means less downtime for our hot tub which we use virtually every day(long story).It's well made, threaded on the inside and outside so should fit most taps however it screws on. It comes with a rubber washer for a watertight seal.Very happy and easily recommend it.

Fitted perfectly good on the tap but once I plugged in the hose it was leaking a little bit.I think that might be from the weight of it ?Still recommend it as it great when you don’t have an outdoor tap as it’s very universal for all taps.It’s not like those plastic ones that will break
