Perfect size for my bathroom, and has an extractable internal container to make it easier for emptying and of course that keeps liners tidy. Soft-closing lid is a nice feature. Looks and feels well-made (body is metal, lid is plastic). Came with a sample pack of 3 Brabantia bags.

I like this bin, but preferred the Amazon one as you can't keep the lid open and it's not so easy to keep clean as the Amazon. But this bin opened the right way underneath the kitchen sink and it wasn't as tall as the Amazon one, so I could lift the lid up by hand quite easily. For messy rubbish or a lot of it, I lift the bin out of the cupboard and put the messy rubbish in a separate bag, holding the lid up with one hand and putting the rubbish in with the other. Quite a nice bin, does the job, fits in lovely, shame the lid doesn't stay open and it's made of plastic not stainless steel.

Good build quality, floor or wall mounted option. Lived up to the Brand reputation.

Nice little compact garbage can

I am disappointed in this bin. It feels cheap and ‘tinny’ compared to my other two ( larger ) Brabantia bins. I expected a better way of lifting the lid - maybe a small catch? However it is easy to clean Easy to put bin liners in Is neat and unobtrusive in the bathroom It is smaller than I expected but that’s my fault for not understanding what 4l looked like! 1 star knocked of for general standard - not up the Brabantia’s usual standard. 1 star knocked off because of lack of catch

Very sturdy item and nice design

Great product. Well made. Looks good. Opens and closes nicely. Bags fit nice and snug round the rim. Just ordered my third one of these for another room.

Nice looking waste 'basket.' Nice size too for a smaller room. Only issue is, the top doesn't stay open - that can be a nuisance sometimes.

No pedal for opening the lid, and the lid itself does not open fully so taking out trash is harder than it should be. Very dissapointing for Brabantia.
