Review: I remember trying to find a book on tambour beading a few years ago, and I could only find French books. I've followed the author of this book on Instagram for a few years, always being amazed by her beautiful goldwork. When she announced the publication of this book I pre-ordered it immediately! It finally arrived today, so obviously I haven't applied the techniques yet. However, I've read the introductory chapter and enjoyed a thorough browse of all the pages. I can say that it is filled with wonderful, clear photos and explanations of techniques. You don't need a lot of fancy equipment if you're already someone who enjoys embroidery. The only thing I need to buy is a tambour hook! There are also some beautiful projects. I often don't make projects that are offered in books like this as I prefer to do my own thing after studying the techniques, but I'm in love with the Christmas garland and know I'll make that one already!
