Ordered two, one arrived without the trim kit (i.e. no crystals), the other one has a piece cut to the wrong size that won't fit. Assembly is not trivial--there are basically no instructions and you have to splice together three sets of 6 wires each and then figure out how to smash them down in a little metal bowl. Then you have to unsplice them all and redo it because you didn't notice one of the nuts is thinner than the others and goes in a different place--again, directions would be dynamite to have. Buy local on this item.

I could not be happier with this chandelier. It is small enough to fit in my tiny dining room yet adds the elegance I wanted. I was very nervous about hanging it myself--the instructions specify having a professional do it, but it really is not complicated. Major tip: make sure you fully understand how the various parts and crystals go together, and how the entire unit will be wired and attached to the ceiling BEFORE doing any of it. Save yourself the aggravation of having to take it down and rehang it twice because you weren't clear on how it went together. That said, it's very well designed and crafted, and everything that you need comes in the box. The instructions aren't complicated, but they do require two pairs of hands (don't attempt this alone!), looking at diagrams, and understanding what is being depicted. The finger cots included to keep the crystal from getting fingerprints are a good idea; without them there will be fingerprints everywhere. Once it's up and you turn it on, oh the sparkle!
