Time Warp Puzzle Mystery Jigsaw Puzzle 1000 Pieces for Adults Day Night Series - A Challenging, Difficult, Picture Changing Puzzle to Solve 26.625 x 19.25 in (Starwatchers)

The Obon Festival was my first Time Warp Puzzle. I love "non-traditional" jigsaw puzzles, and this one fit that description well. The image on the box, and the image on the two supplied printouts do NOT match the actual puzzle. This is part of the challenge. The reference images are a daytime view of an obon festival, while the puzzle itself is a nighttime view. This type of challenge might not be for everyone, but I encourage all to try it out before dismissing the concept.The artwork is fun, clear, vibrant and interesting, and the pieces are well constructed and fit together well. No board puzzles in my opinion are completely dust-free, but there was very MINIMAL dust.Unfortunately, there was one (1) missing piece. I've done my share of puzzles and I know this can happen. So I rarely hold it against the manufacturer. That being said, I reached out to see if they offered a replacement piece. I know that might seem crazy, but I've actually had luck having a replacement piece sent in the past! Customer service responded to my inquiry (which is already a plus), but were unable to send a replacement piece. HOWEVER, they offered to send a full replacement puzzle, or a completely different puzzle FREE OF CHARGE. I had already shared this Obon Puzzle with my mom (who didn't care about the missing piece), so I took the offer of a different Time Warm Puzzle. I received it within days. Absolutely stellar customer service, and I can't wait to start the new puzzle!

We were looking for a puzzle challenge and definitely found it. This puzzle is not for the casual puzzle solver, but it great for those who complete puzzles often. It took it twice as long as a 1000 piece puzzle normally does which is a good thing. We enjoyed trying to connect the daytime picture we were given with the nighttime that we had to put together.The puzzle pieces were good, but we wished they stayed together a little better. We understand some of the mystery items description after the puzzle was put together, but that didn't distract from our enjoyment of the puzzle itself.

This mystery puzzle brings something new to the table with its day and night transformation. The box and posters show one version of the scene, but the puzzle itself depicts a different time of day, making it more engaging to solve. The piece quality is great, and the artwork is fantastic. Definitely worth checking out for puzzle enthusiasts.

My purchase was “Rock the Cats Claw”. - since the reviews seem to combine multiple different puzzles for some reason. This is a great concept. I have been deliberately seeking out mystery or escape puzzles that are altered from the cover picture or offer some additional challenges. This totally fit the bill. The artwork is whimsical and it was fun getting the gradual reveal. There are interesting pieces in non-standard shapes as well. I will buy another one.It is definitely a challenging puzzle since you are building an altered image in a darker color scheme, but there are plenty of clues and enough color variation to eventually get it put together. This aspect is clearly defined in the seller’s description, so I’m not sure why people are complaining about it in some of the reviews. A note on some of the quality comments. I’d call it medium- good.My only complaint that had me dock a star- it’s missing 2 small pieces. Bummer since I’d like to pass it along :(. It was still fun to work on.

My husband and I are avid puzzlers and board game fanatics. We complete 2-3 puzzles each week (usually 1000 pcs/ea) and break out a board game over the weekend. Finding a line of jigsaw puzzles with a unique twist is exciting but when the quality and art are also top notch, we willingly gobble up and entire line of puzzles. This was our first by this new small puzzle/game company and we are HOOKED! We have since completed 2 other in the line and purchased up the entire line. We’ll be hungry for more by the summer months (hear that? *wink, wink*). Please keep them coming. The art is fun (10/10) and we love trying to guess what the twist will be as we’re still sorting pieces. These are a blast. The images included give just enough information to get an idea of where pieces will be placed, but leave open to the imagination what the end product will be. The puzzle quality is 9/10 and could only be improved if the pieces held together better when moving them across the table. The customer support is great and just what I’d expect from a quality small game/puzzle company (some of the larger game/puzzle companies take customers for granted but not so here!) and we’re looking forward to the future of this company as their line of puzzles expands!! Thanks for a few hours of great fun!

I will never buy another one of these puzzles again. The whole puzzle was blue. Some of the pieces were bent and the picture pealing from the top of the piece. Color scheme was completely different. No image to go by. Incredibly frustrating. Have no interest in completing this puzzle. Before getting this you should know what you are getting into. Look up the final image before proceeding. I do a lot of puzzles and am not intimidated by a challenge. I have never returned a puzzle but this one is a complete disappointment

This puzzle was one of the most challenging that I've ever attempted. The picture on the box is a picture of what the setting looks like during the day, but the actual puzzle is what the setting would look like during the night. Typically, I sort puzzle pieces by color because I know what section of the puzzle they will go into. With a night-time lighting, all of the coloration in this particular puzzle are very similar. It was a challenge figuring out what pieces would go where. It took me quite a lot longer than most puzzles do, which was quite refreshing. I greatly enjoyed the challenge.

Yes - one puzzle piece was missing — deflating!I suggest finding a photo of the finished night scene as the night scene is COMPLETELY different. When I finished the puzzle it was a great feeling of accomplishment - except for that one missing piece - GAH!
