This product popped up as being recommended for me, based on my search for lactase pills like Lactaid. It sounded too good to be true, but there were a number of reviews that said it worked, and the description sounded straightforward and honest to me. And a single bottle, which (if it worked) would take care of my lactose intolerance for about 3 months, would cost what I'd pay for about a week and a half's worth of lactase. (My 40-year intolerance was so strong that I had to take about 20-25 Ultra Lactaids to eat an ice cream cone!) I gambled and bought a single bottle, not expecting miracles. What I got ... was a miracle! Instead of having to carry lactase pills with me everywhere and take them (lots of them!) with pretty much every meal, I don't even carry them any more! I hadn't even finished my first 1-week course of LactoFreedom when I noticed that I needed few or no lactose pills with most of my meals. (And for someone whose favorite foods are melted cheese and ice cream, that's a pretty big deal!) I have been taking LactoFreedom periodically for over a year and can't imagine living without it any more. A thought to those taking LactoFreedom: I had a bout with an intestinal virus soon after taking a course of LactoFreedom. It took me a few days before I realized that pretty much all the bacteria in my gut had been washed away, inluding those in LactoFreedom. I had to begin a new 1-week course at that point and once again, it worked like a charm. Also, I found that ordering many months ahead (buying, say, 5 or 6 bottles at a time) is not a great idea. Even though I kept them in the refrigerator as suggested, I found that coverage from the last few bottles was a week to two weeks shorter than with fresh bottles. I now order them one or two bottles at a time - but nothing is ever going to keep me from ordering them! Thank you, Dr. Manzo - these capsules have really changed my life for the better!

I have just now ordered my 8th separate bottle shipment over atleast a 3 almost 4 year period. Once I take this as directed on the bottle for 7 days, I must attest this is the greatest supplemental product out there that I have found to help any of us with the lifelong lactose intolerant problem. I love it because I only have to take it 3 times a day for only 7 days and that’s it! Whereas those other over the counter popular brands, they want you to either take a pill once a day (daily probiotic + lactose support) supplement” or before every meal you need to chew on one of their tablets, before you have any foods with dairy or even consumer dairy products. It has been about 3 months, since I finished my most recent 7 day regime and I am able to drink all of the milk, milkshakes, consume many cheese and dairy products or foods containing dairy in their ingredients without any problems whatsoever, not even feeling the bloating or a stomach ache. Also, may I add no more running to the restroom in public (which can get embarrassing) or while at home. Thank you Doctor and thank you all of the wonderful team at Manzo!!! : )

My intolerance to lactose is severe. If I have more than a sip of skim milk or a bite of ice cream or a half tsp of butter, I have terrible bloating and digestive issues. I followed the instructions (eating a pile three times a day either one hour before or two hours after eating) for seven days with no side effects. I felt fine as I abstained from ALL lactose as I normally do. On day nine, I reduced the amount of lactase I take by 1/2 for a couple of cookies with butter (about 1 tsp of butter), and I noticed bloating. If the pills worked, it was MINIMAL and I doubt the effects would last long. For me, it is not worth the risk experimenting. I wanted these to work, but I suspect they're only effective for those with a mild intolerance. Perhaps the kind of person who wants to eat three slices of pizza instead of two without feeling a little bloated. Definitely not for someone whose genetic makeup demands they abstains from all lactose or they're out of commission for the rest of the day.

I began having lactose intolerance issues in grade school. For the past 15 years I’ve tried everything, lactose pills, teas, lactose free options, etc. Two months ago I was at the end of my rope. I would take 1-3 dairy pills with almost every meal and I would still experience bloating, gas, etc. It got to the point where work meetings and events were uncomfortable because dairy from days ago was still causing discomfort. Additionally I had bloat/gas noises that were extremely embarrassing and loud. I was feeling like nothing would ever change and facing the decision to cut out all milk and cheese or find a viable solution that actually works. I took this product as described, I saw some people say not to eat any dairy for the first week but that wasn’t on the bottle so I kept eating dairy. On the 5th day of taking the 3 pills a day, I realized that I woke up and my stomach didn’t hurt at all (it usually hurts when I wake up). I also realized that I could sit through an event I had that day without getting up and going to the bathroom a bunch (for gas). About a week after finishing my last dose I thought it wore off, I was discouraged because gas and bloat were returning. However, after about 5 days that went away and I’ve been amazing ever since. I take half (yes half) a dairy pill with large amounts of dairy (ice cream, pizza etc). Not because I need to, but because I guess I’m not used to a life of freedom like this. Any normal amount of dairy (cheese dishes, sandwiches, sour cream) I can just eat. I get a little bit of gas but it isn’t comparable to my old gas. This feels more like my gut processing my meal than trapped gas my lactose intolerance used to cause. I used to dread having 101 contact with people or even having a gathering of people but now I feel absolutely fine. I also used to only wear loose clothing because my gut would “complain” (make loud noise) if I wore anything fitting. Now I can squeeze into the righted clothes (if I want) and won’t have to worry about my bloating. This product has been life changing. I would recommend anyone struggling with lactose intolerance give it a try. I wish I found this sooner. UPDATE 8.17.23 - It feels like the product is just now starting to lose its effect. I am buying more. I started eating dairy with no pills shortly after my original post and all was well. The only thing that would ever affect me was eating tons of heavy heavy cheese like mozzerella sticks (with no dairy pill). Anything else, milk, icecream, cheese, etc was fine. I love this product and feel like it has given me my life back. I'm thankful it exists. Update 11.21.25 I’ve stopped taking this as of a year ago. In all honesty it was working but started working less. So I just took it to prayer. Jesus healed me. I have no more dairy issues. When my friends even have issues from heavy meals, I don’t. This wasn’t overnight but through faith I’ve been healed! Praise God. So, if this ever stops working, or if you want complete freedom try Jesus - he heals!

I became suddenly and violently lactose-intolerant about a year ago - I went from eating deep-dish pizza to not able to eat caramel or anything that "contains milk". Not even caramel. I'm not against consuming genetically engineered things, I just prefer the minimum viable solution to a problem - but that would be lactase pills which just didn't work. Lactase also brings on a certain dysbiosis that they just don't fix. It takes a bit to seed, and it really does need to be taken on an empty stomach and small intestine - I played loose with the instructions and just couldn't structure my meal times to fit the 3 hour window and take the pill at the right time in that hour to get it right, and it took 2 bottles to get half of the effect. I tried this and by the end of a week, I could eat a croissant that was buttered before baking and not have my colon try to reproduce the 1812 Overture on opening weekend! I still can't have actual cheese, milk, yogurt, or butter, but I can eat the occasional cookie or half-cup of granola (with oat yogurt) without dying. It still causes in me some sort of horrible gut flora shift that leaves me feeling tense and brainless and wrong that our vaunted medical establishment doesn't believe in and for which alt-medicine has no end of questionable pills and potions with no proof of contents or tested efficacy, so I think I'm just going to keep being vegan (so many people - so many restaurants - that don't understand that butter and yogurt are dairy!) If your lactose intolerance doesn't rise to the level of medical anomaly, give this a try.
