This laptop offers massive value for money—far superior build quality to the new laptops, even three times the price of this one. It is also still upgradable and will last well into the future. Even if you are not on a budget, buy one of these. The typing experience is second to none. If you are a student, get one of these. If you are anyone needing a laptop for anything other than high-end gaming, then give this a try. I seriously doubt you will be disappointed.

First impressions, but I'm confident that I would not recommend buying from here unless you're quite experienced with dealing with pcs. As some others have said it'd a roll of the dice to see how good condition your laptop will be, some are fine, some are not. Mine is a little grubby under the keyboard, and the monitor wasn't initially clipped in correctly but otherwise seems ok. The main issue is the OS - This does NOT come with the required drivers installed, to get things like two finger scrolling on the touchpad to work, you need to find the correct thinkpad drivers yourself. Also, and this is the main reason for my low score : It comes with Adware installed. "PC App Store" is a pain to remove unless you know what you're doing as it typically tries to reinstall itself. Someone who wasn't good with computers would be bombarded with ads every time they turn the machine on with no idea on how to stop it.

Why did you choose this product over others?:The T490 is the best laptop I have owned. The keyboard is especially excellent and the speakers are much louder.There is no fan noise and it is very fast. The only down side is the hard drive health status on my used laptop is 60%. I replace the hard drive with a ssd I bought on Amazon for £28.Sellers of used laptops should be obligated to reveal the laptop's hard drive health status.

That Lenovo PC is the best of it's kind at that price. This machine has a faster processor, The graphics are very good. The previous Lenovo bought 12 years ago was a refurbished PC. It was subjected to the tender mercies of my youngest daughter and survived that battering. Then revived and past on to old lady of limited means where it lives very happily.

The Lenovo T490 is a good laptop but to call this an "excellent" quality refurb is not really true. On mine one of the USB-C charging ports did not work out of the box, as well as this the screen LCD panel is likely damaged resulting in a persistent line down the middle of the screen.

Delivered on time even though it was Christmas. The computer is fully as advertised and it looks and feels like a brand new one. The only thing I needed to do on the first start-up was reset the country of location for the clock, currently downloading updates, but this would be standard on any new computer. The price for this computer is excellent, and with Windows 11, it becomes a very good way of updating for a great price.

I purchased this Item from the seller as described (Renewed). As soon I received it, I signed with my student credential and set up screen lock. I tried to switch it on again and it said my passcode is wrong!! That’s weird as I knew my passcode and even noted it down on a piece of paper so that I didn’t forget it. And since ever then there has been many suspicious activity on my accounts and started to receive random emails which I have never ever use this email for anything else’s a part from my studies. Yesterday, I received a weird email and fax sheet to which I have never used faxed correspondences. I had to sign out and factory reset before I returned it. However, as today 18 July I signed in on my phone and still see the this device still active and using my personal information and data. This is clear violation of privacy and data protection.Do not buy used electronic item again as you do not know who really these sellers are.
