Works as it should and is not overly difficult to install, although I would say it took me like 30 min to install. This is very necessary if you want to use all the parking features with the dashcam, unless your cigarette lighter socket remains hot even with the car off. I would recommend because it also frees up a slot for a charger.

Super easy to install. Granted I dug up a YouTube video for my specific vehicle but the process was simple. After installing the fuse taps (make sure they are the correct orientation), the camera fired right up. The harness allows it to record even when the car is off which was something I really wanted available. After reaching a certain battery discharge level, the camera shuts off rather than continue to drain. Running the wiring was the most difficult part. I'd recommend picking up a trim removal kit. They're cheap but will save your fingers and potential damage when prying off plastic tabs. Various fuse taps are included so there should be no issues with different vehicle makes and models.

Its better to have too much wire, and have to cut some off or hide it away, then not enough.
