Leash and swivel is very tight and makes difficult to remove, but you cannot beat the price.

If I could give zero stars, I would. My original gas cover lost it's "string" so I got this hoping that I wouldn't have to hold the cover in my mind as I pumped gas. Immediately, it was a struggle just to tighten the cap as the rubber holding the "string" didn't spin. I had to fight with the closing gas tank cover and the string just to close down the cap. Within minutes, I got the gas cap warning on my dash. I figured it was just me not fighting with it hard enough. I stopped the car, really fought with it to get it tight then prayed that my car got the best gas mileage ever so I wouldn't have to battle it out again. Over the next few weeks, I got more warnings that the cap was loose. I'd ignore them, then the next time I drove - no warning. Later, it would return. Finally, I had to get gas again. I fought with the cap some more (it was difficult getting it off after tightening it down), but I got it on. This time, the warnings were mostly gone (not entirely) so I resolved to just keep it and prepare myself for battle every time I got gas. The THIRD time I got gas, the cap fell apart, but not so bad that I couldn't push the top on and still turn it shut. I carefully shut down the cap, hoping the I was going to be able to lock the cover into the base solid enough to turn it open. It worked the FOURTH time, but the hard rubber "string" broke off just as I tightened it down. I could've just kept the original! The FIFTH time I open the cap, the entire cap literally just came apart. Everything. Not just the cover, which I could lock into the base, but the cover, the base, the screw-in part. Right outside my car, below my filler tank, on the ground, I had about 7 pieces scattered all over. It was brutal cold winter up north, so I gathered everything up, took out my original part (which I kept since this replacement immediately had problems) and I haven't had a problem since. Long story short: Don't buy this.

It fits the Volvo gas tank perfectly.

The gas cap cover is not a perfect fit as ordered. When driving several times a sign comes on, malfunction and tighten cap, even when it is tightened well.

Arrived as pic shows. Initial quality was fine. A week went by and filled up twice noticing the collar attached to the fuel cap with the tether attached seemed very stiff. 3rd fill up the tether snapped. I would not recommend this.

Good but tight fit

Caused engine light to come on- had to go back to the original. It was worth a try. Go with OEM from Volvo. It’ll throw off your cars fuel pressure.

Used for about 1 month. Every time I went to get gas car tells me the gas cap is loose and I know it was closed tight enough. Ended up ordering one from Volvo have not had that problem since. Save yourself some money just go get it from the dealership.
