WOOW! perfect solution!
this product (and its associated bits snd bobs!) is excellent! i can now put my whole home network in a single rack and take it with me without deconstructing my whole network! (a right setup! lol) my network is basically a tplink router, tplink poe 8 port switch, 5+ raspberry pi 4's running as servers (powered via poe), tplink ap (powered by poe) and a philips hue mk2 bridge. my current setup is wire sphagetti but this unit (along with a 12 port geekpi patch panel (pass thru, plug cable in outside then plug another inside then to your devices... mess is inside not outside!), 2x 4 slot raspberry pi docks, a 3 socket rackmount pdu (rack mains plug board) and a few shelves for it... amazing! the size of the rack is amazing, its small but so very perfect for network gear and even stashing small pc's or macs! you have a home network... get one of these! remember to look at all the gear for these... its mindblowingly awesome stuff!

Excellent 10 inch rack
I wanted something like this to tidy up some of my smaller IT estate, and this certainly a good place to start! Arrived well presented, and extremely well packed/protected. Fairly simple, albeit a bit fiddly to assemble with all the right screws, etc, along a spare of each. Everything needed was supplied - except possibly some cable ties It fits together well, and seems fairly solid. I made one simple mistake, which was putting the aluminium bars in the wrong way up, which of course prevents the top and bottom from being used - easy to swap round, even when fully assembled. However I haven't managed to as much as I intended in place - it is surprisingly small - even though I had all the measurements! In due course I will probably get either a taller one, or a small 19inch rack in the back room Overall I would highly recommend, but suggest reviewing the dimensions first

Incredibly high quality mini rack
I wasn't sure what to expect in terms of quality, but it exceeded my expectations. I was a little wary to invest given how most of the reviewers are Vine sponsors, but I liked the look of it so took a punt. It's not cheap, but I was relieved to find that that's because high quality parts have been used, rather than a profit taking exercise. It's all really nicely finished and powder coated, along with black screws to assemble it. Instructions for assembly are clear and well written. I'll be buying another.

Solid Rack But Not Perfect
I've been looking for a way to better organise my stack of TinyMiniMicro nodes for a while, and this seemed like the perfect option. Combine this with a whole world of 3D printable / off the shelf 10" rack accessories and you've got a lovely little stack. Unboxing was impressive. Everything is packed well, and neatly laid out in layers of foam cut to size. This makes laying out the kit before assembly nice and easy, and also is great for doing the initial check against the (well illustrated) assembly guide to check that all pieces are supplied and intact. Once built it's a good looking and sturdy mini rack. I'd maybe like to see slightly larger rubber feet to give a) a bit more stability and b) a bit more of a height gap over the floor level if you wanted bottom mounted fans, but that's a minor quibble. There are a couple of aspects of the kit that I'm not fond of: - The head of the supplied philips driver feels like it's going to keep skipping and eventually either it or the rack screws will strip. Something doesn't match up well there. - For an 8U rack, you're only given 24 rack screws. Assume 4 screws for a decent fixing per 1U and you're not going to fill your rack with what's provided. - While it's nice to have pre-drilled holes for rack screws as opposed to fiddling with cage nuts, I loathe 10-32. Metric standards do exist, and are far more internationally friendly (cost & availability) than whatever abomination the Americans use. - The SBC shelf seems like a poor choice of default accessory. It's not like they're not available separately, but they're of no use if you're not putting SBCs into your rack. Another rack shelf or a lower price would make more sense. This is a product likely to be bought by people with a specific setup / goal in mind, so there's no real appeal in having a variety of extras just for the sake of showing what's on offer. Still, it's a good shortcut package when I'm not in the mood to build a custom frame and want to focus on populating the rack instead. I'll try to get some photos up once I have it fully loaded.

Fantastic rack even for Prosumers...
Fantastic rack for a home lab or as I have done, running my NAS, media server, Unifi CG, Hue controller, Smart device controller, extra... Loads of community 3D prints out there which makes life a lot easier for custom setups. I made a 3D print to hold a 3 gang extension lead on the back (benefit of some U spaces is you have a front and back you can use. Brought a USB fan powered by USB and stuck it on top to keep air flow and about to mount 2 on the back as well. I can't recommend this Rack enough. I'll be buying another to take to families out of the UK.
