Great for reptiles
I have a 2 pack of the 100w heat lamps. They worked great in a 40gallon front opening exo terra enclosure. However when I upgraded my last minute bearded dragon rescue to a 8x2x4 the temps weren't what I needed. As soon as I put these in, it was perfect. I have been monitoring the temps for a few days now. Today I was able to move Hannibal to his new enclosure. The price is perfect. I tried the 100w in my 36x18x18 leopard gecko enclosure but the temps are too hot. I mad a custom background and it gets too hot. So I ordered the 75w for that. As you can see, I trust these heat lamps!! They are easy to use.

Hit or miss but typically good
Like all reptile bulbs, these are hit or miss but so far I have had more bulbs than bad. I have had only 1 that lasted a shorter period of time. I will say however that the bulbs have a short heat life span, even without burning out completely. I noticed one of my bulbs has quickly started losing heat and I hope the next bulb doesn’t do the same as I did not have this issue prior with these same bulbs. When they do work, they work well in my opinion.

Nice bulbs for the price
These bulbs arrived intact and are working as they should be. I have them on a dimming thermostat and they heat my tanks appropriately.

Doesn’t last in the real world
They are indeed bulbs, they light up and provide heat. If I were a turtle I would review these at 5 stars. However I am a person who cares for a turtle and I am rating these 1 star. Reason? If they are even a little bit warm, tepid, anything more than room temperature and you have the misfortune of bumping them, hold your breath and hope they don’t separate. The glue used to hold the glass element to the base dries up, becomes brittle and no longer acts as glue. So, you wind up with a two piece bulb, which does not suit my purposes at all. 5 times, shame on you.
