Star Wars Encyclopedia: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy Review: Great book for Star Wars fans - This encyclopedia covers a lot of details for characters, creatures, locations and vehicles from comics, movies, TV shows and cartoons. The articles are not sorted alphabetically but grouped with major files or shows. We can always demand more details from the articles (e.g. originate from where, duration, etc.) but it provides enough details for basic understanding. This book describes things individually. IT doesnāt explain ideas; for example, how many known species are there in the Star Wars universe, how many merchandises are related, what means by Jedi, all major symbols, etc. Nor it mentions culture impact. It doesnāt provide timeline of major events either. For major characters, creatures, locations and vehicles, it provides in-depth description, which I find delightful. In all, I enjoy reading this book. Esp. Acolyte is not included in the contents yet. Sadly, Skeleton Crew is not included either. The index lists characters in Last, First name format but I usually only remembers first name of characters, I need some time to find. The book is heavy but colorfully illustrated. It looks grandios. Review: The Ultimate Star Wars Archive ā A Galaxyās Most Complete Character Guide - This book stands as one of the most expansive and comprehensive Star Wars encyclopedias ever made. It brings together an impressive collection of characters from across movies, series, animation, and beyond ā all in one beautifully organized volume. Every page feels like opening a holocron filled with knowledge from a galaxy far, far away. The amount of detail, the clarity of profiles, and the visual presentation make it a true treasure for fans. You donāt just read it ā you explore it. Itās a magical experience for anyone who loves Star Wars and wants a complete, powerful reference to the universeās heroes, villains, creatures, and legends. An essential addition to any fanās collection.

MASSIVE MEMORIES (Corrected review)
THE STAR WARS ENCYCLOPEDIA: The Comprehensive Guide to the Star Wars Galaxy Yesterday, after the long wait, I received the Star Wars Encyclopedia, which updates and expands the āUltimate Guideā series of books. āUltimately,ā it is really great and for those with funding and in the fullness of fandom, I would recommend a purchase. However, let the buyer ābewareā, or better, ābe awareā of what they are getting.. I must preface more remarks by saying I just paged and skimmed the book. I am not, after all, in the habit of reading encyclopedias in their entirety, straight through. It is a wonderful piece of workāwith colorful, beautiful picture or drawings for each entry. Many lesser items are contained on a page, but the more import characters, creatures, locations, weapons and vehicles (cf. the Table of Contents) have a full page. Each entry has a title, of course. And all the descriptions appear to be good from my sampling. I looked for an entry on one of my favorite minor characters, the janitor Opeepit from the animated series Star Wars Resistance and did not see it. This brings up two points. One is, the entries while including subjects from cartoons, comics, games, films, canon and non-canon sources, do not tell me which source or sources the items come from. Second, I went to look up Opeepit from the index. Gratefully there is indeed an index! And Opeepit is on the top of page 198. What is especially neat about this is that instead of entries being listed alphabetical, they are grouped in somewhat similar times. Thus a number of characters from Star Wars Resistance. Further, I noticed that in Locations, However with the index, one finds that the entry for Lars Moisture farm is placed several pages later. There may be a reason it wasnāt include in the main entry for the planet, but it is there. Having seen the original model for the Incom Corporation Tri-Wing in a car museum in Los Angles last year, I checked additionally in the index,to see if it was there. āand there it was, listed on page 398.. But because the entries are from the point of view that this mythology is ārealā, there was no mention of development in collaboration with Porsche. Thus the entries are more or less from āinsideā the mythology, the Star Wars worldsview, if you will. There are no mention of actorsāwell especially excepting the wonderful foreword by Rosario Dawson talking about her experience with Ahsoka as she praises the book at the end of her contribution. This is also one heavy volume. That is necessary because of the generosity of the graphics and the effort at completeness and the presumed desire to have all in one volume. Yet due to that, I have a hunch that one must treat the book with care because continual consultation if not careful, would tend to lead to text block separation from the cover material. I could be wrong but I suspect not. (Speaking of the covers, excellent illustrations by Brian Rood!). There it isāa great work, with a fullness of illustration and entry along with easy access to check things with the index. For some something beyond the digital realm, something you can curl up with on a winterās (or rainy summerās) day, this book is a welcome addition to shelf (or room or barn!) of Star Wars memories.

This might be the book youāre looking for.
Great book for any Star Wars fan. However, some of the pictures were small but gave great descriptions. The book is heavy and packed with a lot of fun things to read!

Great star wars book with lots of pictures!
I went to the book store. I was about to buy it until I saw the price on Amazon, twenty dollars! Originally for fifty. From now on, I'll buy books online. As for the book itself, it came in great condition. Hard cover. Heavy. But with lots of great pictures. I don't have Disney Plus, so I don't know what's going on and what I've missed. Thankfully, the book covers the majority of stuff including characters, planets, vehicles, weapons, clothing, etc. The book is filled with a short summary of what you watch on TV and in the movies. It gives lots of detail into the Star Wars saga, including things I may have not noticed or missed. I love reading Encyclopedia's, non-fiction and fictional books when I'm eating dinner, sitting outside, in the car, sitting on the couch or in bed. Why I prefer books over online? Books doesn't require internet or battery. You can read it immediately, anytime you want. With online books, you need internet and battery life drains away. For twenty dollars, you get a huge book, with over 400 pages of Star Wars information. This is a must-buy for Star Wars fans.

Comprehensive!
I bought this for a friend for Christmas. It has entries for the rarest information I could think of in the Star Wars universe, and it was there! This is not a book you sit down and read cover to cover, it's a reference guide to everything Star Wars.
