DOT Foundation Mechanical Keyboard, 75% Rechargeable Hot-swappable Keyboards with 3 Types Connection for Windows, Mac OS/Pink GATERON Baby Racoon Switches

I am fairly new to the world of ASMR-type keyboards, but after discovering the niche, I was all in, as my job involves typing all day and I love ASMR. I am a very fast typer (130+ WPM) and I type all day for my job, so I want something I can listen to all day. Some keyboard sounds are just too noisy for my fast typing. I am fairly particular with how a keyboard both sounds and feels. This will be a lengthy review, but this is an expensive keyboard, so I think it warrants in-depth info. Sound: I have one other keyboard that has more of a light creamy sound (a bit more like a click). I would consider this to be a bit deeper and a bit more "thonky" (though still creamy). In videos, I don't think the tone always come across right, as I feel that in videos it comes across sounding higher pitched than it is in real life. Either way, I find it pleasant to listen to. Even when I am typing at my fastest, it does not sound too loud or jumbled. My only complaint with the sound is the unfortunate click of the space bar. It is a vastly different sound than the rest of the keyboard, which bothers me. It has a ringing type of "clang / ting" to it when struck. The video I have attached shows some typing and has the original space bar and sound. It is much louder in person. I, personally, could not get over the difference in the sound and feel of the space bar and was considering returning it (I told you I'm particular LOL), much to my dismay. However, I decided to finagle it a bit because I really wanted it to work and was able to gently pull off the space bar and add some cotton ball clippings underneath, which helped deaden the sound and make it more in line with the rest of the keyboard. After doing this, I am perfectly in love with typing on this and enjoy listening to it! If you are not bothered by the space bar being different, this will not be an issue for you. However, if you are particular like I am, be aware. Looks: This keyboard really is beautiful! It has a nice weight to it and does not come across as cheap to me. The keys are smooth and soft and I like the larger font on the keys. The different lighting options / patterns are really cool! This keyboard does not have the number pad on the side, which I knew when purchasing, but I do miss this, as I am fast at 10-key and it is a learning curve to use the top number row. I had this on my Wish List for a while, but had never taken the plunge because of the price. I justified this purchase by using my birthday as an excuse, though I would not usually spend that much on myself :) I do feel that this keyboard is a bit overpriced (likely due to the hype) BUT I am glad that I made the purchase and I really enjoy typing on this keyboard. Due to the inflated price, the spacebar issue, and wishing it was a full keyboard (especially for the price), I removed a star. Overall, a lovely keyboard and you likely will not regret it! EDIT 10/29/25: I am increasing my review to 5 stars. After using this for several months, it is just such a dream. I have gotten used to the keypad at the top. The typing sound is so soothing and does not fatigue my hands or my ears. While the price is quite high, it seems pretty in-line with a lot of nicer keyboards, and this one is just so creamy and dreamy. Highly recommend! I do still wish I didn't have to modify the space bar, but I realize that's a "me" thing, LOL

The Lofree Dot Foundation Keyboard is absolutely beautiful! I love the way it feels when typing, and the light effects are truly stunning. The sound of the keys perfect. It's very simple to connect via Bluetooth, cable, and 2.4 ghz transmitter. It's also easy to switch between devices as it allows connection to up to 3 devices at once. The keyboard is of a great weight and quality. If you are into the nude/blush/light pink aesthetic I would recommend. I have been looking at this keyboard for over two years before finally deciding on buying the set (keyboard, digit number pad, and mouse). It works as it is supposed and the functionality of it all is beyond expected. I do wish that they had a shared transmitter if needing to use on a non-Bluetooth device as all 3 devices if getting entire set have a separate one. I will not dock stars for that as they are technically separate devices and not sold as a set. The only thing left to mention is the price, and well it's high. I think it should be lower honestly but if you have the extra to splurge and are interested, I can say it did not disappoint.

Not gonna lie, the price tag was daunting, but I decided to splurge a bit and take a chance. There are very limited videos or reviews on this keyboard and if you do happen upon a review, you'll be hard pressed to find one in English. What I can say about this keyboard (rest assured that I was not sponsored to purchase this, I paid for it myself) is that it is stunning in person. The weight is heavier than I am accustomed to and it feels premium. The keys are gorgeous, and the frosted transparent base was just the style I was looking for- classic yet delicate. The texture of the keys isn't too slippery or agitating to press on, I worried the texture would feel like nails on a chalkboard if my nails happened to scrape against them-- it doesn't. Thankfully. The videos I watched on YouTube did not do the keyboard justice, it not only looks better in person, it sounds better too. I had planned on switching switches for a more thonky sound, but was surprised to find it wasn't too clicky. Normal typing gives a very quiet subtle tone, not at all loud and obnoxious like some of my other boards. I did have a slight confusion on Bluetooth/USB connection, be warned that none of the instructions are in English. I'm assuming it was in Chinese, but I may be wrong. Regardless, after a little experimentation I found that pressing FN and 1,2,3,4 respectively will switch from varying Bluetooth as well as USB features. You cannot have a bluetooth pairing and USB connection simultaneously, you have to switch between the two. Simple, I know, but it took me half an hour to figure that out lol, so now you don't have to. You're welcome 😘 I have used this keyboard both through Bluetooth and USB for gaming and see little difference between the two. I had seen a comment on YouTube claiming the Bluetooth feature would cause latency issues in-game, but from my own experience this has not been the case. Some of my other boards did have latency issues in-game so I always utilized the USB feature, but if you're on the move or don't have enough ports I don't see you having a hard time with bluletooth. Overall, I give this a 10/10 and if you can justify the price tag, I believe you'll enjoy it as well.

I know it's pricey, but let me tell you, it's worth it. As I was searching, it seemed like most quality keyboards were in the $100-$200 range. I'm an online student and I work from home, so I was looking for a keyboard that not only matched my needs, but also my aesthetic. The keys sound so clonky and creamy, and I find it soooo relaxing just to type. The other great thing is the light patterns. I hated how on other keyboards. specifically gaming keyboards, it seemed like the lights were rainbow LED's, but this keyboard gives off a soft, yellow glow in different pattens. It's super easy to connect to your laptop or computer and you can connect it three different ways (bluetooth, cord, or dongle). The packaging it comes in is so nice and high-end. The keyboard itself has some weight to it, but personally I like that. It hasn't slowed down my pace with typing. Overall, if you are looking for an aesthetic/ ASMR keyboard, this is the one to get. It's so pretty and sounds so nice. Truly so fun and calming to use!

If you found this product, you likely type for a living or for some other very important reason a lot of the time (student). Beautiful keyboard with impeccable display features. Love the simplicity with the ability to add custom quirks to the lighting and other key specs. If you are not a proficient typist, you’ll make a lot of typos. The keys are ever so slightly smaller than a typical keyboard but either way, the look, feel, and even the sound are attention getters. Fast charge with long battery life.

I am hoping you can hear my video, but if you can't this is exactly what I am thinking and feeling while I review and thoughtfully think about the qualities and reasons why I stand behind being able to buy myself one thing in years that was more money than what I wanted to spend but fell in my heart that I deserved it for these reasons and then when I received the product I felt for once that my my special moment to splurge on myself was well worth it because the keyboard was something more than what I expected. Just keyword has to be one of my favorite things that I own at this time. And I know a keyboard that's just weird. But I am a collector of keyboards and I am a connoisseur of some sort. Deeply learn about what it is to make a keyboard and what goes in it. I've learned about the switches and the phone that you can add and lubrication and all the aspects that can change the way a keyboard performs. So once I dabbled into that, I then researched the high-end products after messing with the affordable. And this was the first keyboard that I came across that had not only the switches I liked. But the style of it was just so simple yet so elegantly gorgeous that it drew me to it so much. was I afraid that the money would not be worth it? Absolutely, I but as I've played with this keyboard for a week now, I can genuinely tell you I love it so much . The sound of the switches are not loud and clacky but enough to soothe your ASMR soul. They create a slight thick feeling when it clicks but also with some slack in it. The keys are absolutely soft, but I also noticed that the numbers and the letters on the keycaps are twice as large as a regular keyboard. Therefore, allowing you to see what you're typing faster, therefore increasing your typing time. There's just so much about this keyboard that went into it that I definitely know my dollars were well spent creating this keyboard. And on top of that the back light was important. My backlight on my keyboard almost feels like delight that comes out of a refrigerator late at night. One you're trying to be quiet and have such a subtle light come in. It's so simple get it glows so elegantly underneath the keycaps. And the fact that they have so many different light settings and light displays makes me realize this is exactly I was hoping for. I am 100% happy with this purchase and I know you're thinking calm down. It's just a keyboard for people like me for people who enjoy electronics and enjoy seeing the come up of the electronic world and dabble in these type of items that some of us overlook, we see keyboards for the potential they have to always become great like this one.

This is the most beautifully aesthetic keyboard I have ever seen and definitely the best quality that I have owned. The different light settings are so much fun. The sound is very thocky which I love. It is very easy to type on. It connects and can be switched seamlessly between my MacBook Pro and iMac. The battery life for me is great. Has a good weight to it so it doesn’t slide around when you are trying to type. Absolutely recommend!

I had my eyes on this keyboard for years now but it was a bit pricey for me. Finally went on sale and I had to get it. I’m not computer savvy but it was easy to connect and use even for me. Keys respond well. The colors, beautiful! Creamy clicking sound 💕 but not obnoxiously loud like others. I have it set up at work and miss it over the weekend 😂 so pretty. It seemed pricey to me before owning it but now I regret not getting it sooner! I had to get the keypad as well but only bcuz I’m use to having it on my board.
