BEMIS 75 Commercial Open Front Plastic Toilet Seat, Heavy Duty Industrial Seat with Lid, Round, White

I know this may seem gross to some but it is important. When you're obese it’s hard to wipe front to back. I have short arms and am big and round so how do I possibly wipe with a completely enclosed round seat? This seems like a flimsy seat but it's the strongest and most practical seat I've used. This is what they have in the hospitals and a lot of stores as commercial toilet seats but theirs are missing the cover. This seat allows you to wipe easily, fully, and completely. It washes nicely, although don't use harsh chemicals on it. Plus it's known for its ability to not move at all. Growing up in a household of all girls my dad got this kind of toilet seat for us and I didn't realize until now how it was just one more thoughtful thing he did. But even for men, it's nice too. My husband who is not obese enjoys its pluses.

Looked at a few of these toilet seats and went with this one because of its design. Was concerned about quality but that concern was quickly left at bay. Quality was really nice and the price was as well. Install was very easy and only took a few minutes. The best features are the front gap of seat and the wing nut type of nut. I had to use a wrench to hold down my old toilet seat. This one I could just hold the nut with my finger as I tighten it. If you are replacing your toilet seat and need an affordable one with quality this is the one for you.

I was asked by amazon about the ease of installation. If you can get the old seat off, you can put this seat on. You won't have any trouble, unless you're the one who asks this question and for you I would estimate this is a three out of ten. For anybody else this is a 3 to 4 minute job start (with the old seat) to finish (tada, your new toilet seat). Now how to discard the old seat? That lesson's for another day.

Great little toilet seat! I had one that was not open-ended and it was not a good fit - this one is really nice and at a good orice. I would recommend it!

I should have purchased an open front seat years ago. I suddenly have space where most needed! Now, a closed front seat on a small round toilet, just seems backward and primitive. Anyone with a standard round toilet and a closed front seat should look into getting this seat. Also seems a good option for anyone replacing an open front seat as well. The price is so reasonable on this particular seat, it is worth the time to give it a go. Sure, it is not super heavy duty. Still, I find it stable. (Doesn't slide back and forth like my old standard seat did.) It's comfortable as well. Just don't expect a thick and heavy seat for this price. A benefit though, is a light seat won't wake up the whole house when we lazy types just let gravity drop the seat! One negative was the shipping. (Sold by Amazon). They just put a shipping label on the retail box. It was a mess upon arrival. All ripped and open in spots. I was lucky the seat wasn't damaged, but it did require cleaning as there were some marks.

My issue with this item is not the item. The item is what it is and it works. My beef is with having to have a horseshoe toilet seat for an ADA toilet in my business in the first place. I spent over 35K to make a bathroom in my business where nobody walks in from the street to place orders ADA compliant.....

I never thought I would be able to find a seat like this one. all of the other seats that I found were for elongated toilets. All the men I know would , Would definitely fall in love with this toilet seat the way I have, I think most men need extra space when they aim while sitting on the toilet, and women have absolutely no problem using the live as well. I Love, love, love my new toilet seat. also if It wasn't nasty. I would give it a hug and a big kiss LOL. Thank you for making this toilet seat available.

Reviewing after months of usage. There are two little screws to secure this seat to the toilet. Those screws come with a little hinge cover (?) on it. Those are the little square plastic bits in the picture. Those pop up all the time. I am not sure why. But by saying, "all the time", I mean 1-2 times a month since I'm probably being a drama queen about it. Other than that, it was a great buy. It is not really sturdy like wooden ones, but it does the job well, and it's so very easy to clean, and it was inexpensive. It doesn't get stained either.

Received toilet seat as described but issue with top bolt's which secure seat to toilet basin. No size on product information. The gap between UK toilet bolt holes is 16 cm but this product has gap fixed at 14 cm even though box say's adjustable. Could the supplier and Amazon US add appropriate information so mis-orders aren't made for a quality product. So CHECK your hole gap is 14 cm before placing an order for this item, to save embarrassment.
