This writes nice and dark. The nib is just right so that I can write addresses on boxes or label my food baggies without the writing being too "fat". This is a really good value for 2 of them. I will have to order more. They write so well that I find I am using them more than I expected to. Perfect for writing on paper and plastic. I have labeled the plastic food sealer bags; plastic lunch baggies; packing, paper, electrical tape, and paper envelopes. There is a little bleed-through on lower-gram paper (newsprint) but not so much that it's messy or transfers to the next page.
