The fixing lugs on the cowling are a bit fragile but as long as you are careful when fitting it to the main body it should be fine. The backdraught flap works fine... I am pleased with the purchase and fitting was straightforward.

Sadly, the cowl had not been assembled correctly and this caused the sides to be bowed in and this stopped the backflap from operting. However the application of a heat gun to reform the sides and the correct assembly fixed the problem. Clearly more TLC is required during assembly.

Easy to fix, only problem was the sides stopped the flap because they were slightly bent inwards a little heat eased this.

The side of the cowling are curved inwards restricting the movement of the flap. It does not close properly.Will be probably be returning :-(I’ve updated this reflect that when clicked into place properly, as mentioned in the product description, the flap moves freely.However, the flap moves so freely that the slightest breeze causes it to open then close which we can hear repeatedly in the kitchen. It also opens and closes with a tap when close our internal garage door.I’m currently adding weight to hold it down unless the extractor is on.
