Probably the most misunderstood Superman villian
When they said they were bringing Supers Powers toys back, man listen. I didn't know it was gonna include this little guy. In Superman lore he was the guy trying to destroy earth and kill Superman. But truth be told he was misunderstood in major proportions who lost his home, lost his purpose and anything remotely that is in a sense the essence of life. This beings name is Brainiac and he was until the realization of Kal El (Superman real identity) the only living being of Krypton. Despite his villainous reputation, Brainiac's true story is one of tragedy and loss. His quest to collect cities from different planets was a desperate attempt to preserve the memory of his lost home world. In a way, he was just as much a victim as Superman, they were both the last of their kind, searching for a sense of belonging in the vastness of the universe. Perhaps there is more to Brainiac than meets the eye, a complexity and depth that goes beyond his role as a mere antagonist. As we delve deeper into his history, we may find a character deserving of more empathy more than just understanding, rather than fear and hatred. And oh yeah, this figure is old-school cool too!

Super Powers is the best figure series ever
I was 20 in 1984 when the Original series came out. The figures and packaging very well designed. The cards were very colorful. Now Mcfarlane has picked up the line. The same figures and card are identical to the Original line. It started out kind of slow. These New Waves are the best so far. Finally getting the figures out that collectors like me wish had come out back in the 80’s. Keep up the good work. Have all that have come out. Just please less Batman and Superman. This Brainaic is one of the best. Along side the extremely hard to get Black Manta. They’re finally getting out the Villains to go along with the Heroes.

Great old school Braniac
What else can you say? This figure is awesome! Nice solid build. Great paint and that cool superpowers feel! If you were a kid in the 80's these take you right back even with the figures that weren't released then. Like this one. But they have that great old school comic vibe! Great add to the collection!

Purchased this as the face bears an uncanny resemblance to my own. Almost like looking at a miniature version of myself. Looks good on the shelf which I'm told I do not.
