It's been one of those jobs that I've put off for ages, mainly because I couldn't find a threshold that would accommodate a 3cm difference in level. Got a returned item for £16 which is excellent value. I cut it to size with a chop saw which was very easy to do and then did the shape of the door jam with a junior hacksaw and a file. I chose to stick it to the floor with 'no nails' which has worked great. Job took about 30 mins in total. Looks good and feels study.

Worked well for my needs. Profile was just right to transition my floor joint from a raised tile to laminate plank. You will need to be sure it will align with your conditions. Easy to work with...cut with a standard hack saw.
