Good spec., solid build. Great price at £799:99
ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED UX3402VA 14.0" 2.8K 90Hz Touchscreen OLED Laptop (Intel i9-13900H, 16GB RAM, 1TB PCIe SSD, Backlit Keyboard, OLED Screen, Windows 11. I've had this laptop for a week. The specifications are very good. Good connectivity facilities easy to use. Thunderbolt 4 is so versatile and facilitates so many options for connectivity. The build quality seems solid and very good. I like the touch screen as well as keypad. And the number pad is a nice touch. Only disappointment is Windows 11 Home. After using Windows 10 Home for many years I thought it would take a little time to get used to 11. However, Windows 11 home seems very amaturish. All said, I can still recommend this Laptop.

A Display So Gorgeous, I’m Convinced My Old Laptop Was a Potato
The ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED is a masterpiece in laptop form. The 2.8K 90Hz OLED touchscreen is like having a tiny IMAX in my lap—I opened it up and genuinely questioned how I ever tolerated anything less. Colors are so vivid it’s like they’re personally insulted by dullness. And the 90Hz refresh rate? Smooth as butter. But this beauty isn’t just a pretty screen. It’s fast, lightweight, and the battery lasts surprisingly long for something that feels like a portable cinema. Productivity, creativity, procrastination—it all feels elevated. Five stars for a laptop that makes working feel like a blockbuster experience!

Best ultrabook
This is an excellent product that ticks all the ultrabook boxes. It is super light but delivers blazing performance from the i9 processor. It is great value for money.

Good laptop
It's a beautiful laptop, nice and easy, performance is fast. My only high issue is the "screen door" effect on the screen. I'm still in warranty so I'm trying to see if I can overcome it .

Can handle lots of files being rearranged.
My older reconditioned Win 10pro desktop was grunting and complaining and taking rather too long sorting out files. It had ssd on C: and platters drive for D: and usb3 externals. It was slowing my very existence down. So, this ssd machine with usb3 externals is working well. Screen is a bit small, but I am now using a big hi res external monitor.

Screen has horrendous 'screen door" effect.
Firstly. The goods, the laptop is fast, it's very well built and it's quiet, that's it! The bad. Keyboard is very spongy, speakers are worse than my iPad pro 11inch, the battery lasts for around 3-4hrs on balanced and less than an hour if doing anything difficult (fan on full, which is still quiet even with the power set to high power and fannset to full speed) The worst thing however and by a country mile, is the screen. The colours are fine, the brightness is fine, but the 'screen door effect' is unacceptable and renders this screen completely unsuitable for my needs (image production and manipulation). Basically, the touch screen is made of a mesh and where the vertical and horizontal wires overlaps a very visible (almost black) dot can be seen. This means the screen is literally covered in black dots. These dots can be seen at all times and with any colour on the screen. They can be seen clearer when the screen is white, which looks very much like an inkjet printers print when the white isn't quite white and thousands of tiny dots are visible. (Not to be confused with dead pixels. The 'screen door effect' is from the touch screen and is, or at least was a common issue with oled touch screens) I decided to head to Currys and check if this is normal. Ultimately, Currys did not have the Asus zenbook 14 on display, but they did have a few oled displays. I checked everyone (with and without a magnifying glass). I could not see anything but flat colours on any of these laptop screens apart from a lenova which had the same 'screen door' issue. I am going to be returning this laptop as despite being a good deal (£800) and being as fast as my Ryzen 7 pc. It just is not suitable for my needs and I cannot look at the screen without seeing the annoying dots.
