Handy piece of kit

Bought this so we could listen and talk on a Teams meeting via headphones on the one PC. Worked perfectly. Quality sound and speech. Just plug and play for connectivity.

I needed to plug two headsets, each with microphones into a single mobile phone (with one 3.5 jack). to assist clear hearing for elderly relatives. On first trial, it worked, but had a significant echo effect at the other caller's earphones. (presumably due to different delays in the headsets' circuitry) I tried a different combination of headsets and they worked perfectly!

From the description, I expected the two sockets to be one for headphones, the other for mic. Such an arrangement can allow an old-fashioned 2-plug headset to be used with the single 4-pole combination jack socket found on current PCs. The labelling on this adapter shows that both sockets are for headphones, and certainly, both sockets will drive headphones. So neither is a dedicated mic input, but possibly both are combination mic/headphone sockets. As such, not quite what I wanted, but still useful.
