Works perfectly – worth every penny
After trying several cables from generic Chinese brands that just didn’t work or kept dropping signal, this Ruipro fiber optic cable has been an absolute game changer. I’m using it with an RTX 5080 connected to a Samsung QN90D 4K 120Hz HDR TV, and it performs flawlessly — no signal loss, no glitches, just perfect video and audio quality. I’ve tested it both directly connected to the TV and through the Lytmi Neo 3 for ambient backlighting, and it works perfectly in both scenarios. You can tell it's made from high-quality materials, and the performance speaks for itself. It’s the only cable that has truly delivered on its promises, and in my opinion, it’s well worth the price for the reliability and peace of mind it offers. Highly recommended.

Flawless Customer Support - 1440p240Hz 12bpc HDR Works Best with the Non-Certified Cable
tl;dr - Certified fiber 2.1b version did not work well for me, while the non-certified (standard) one works perfectly. Customer Support delivered their standard one to me inside of 48hrs of receiving my query. I purchased the 25ft 48Gbps 2.1b UHS-Certified fiber version to use with my 1440p240Hz OLED with 12bit (12bpc) HDR (no VRR). My machine is in a separate room and I didn't want to play the guessing game of a copper cable + extensions maybe working out. I leaned towards the UHS-Certified version for the same reason. Unfortunately, I was encountering momentary dropouts of signal (not even long enough for Windows to think the cable had been disconnected), entirely randomly. This occurred up to several times per minute, or as rarely as every 10 minutes. I'll cut the cable some slack, I know fiber cables have active transceivers in the end that can get warm. This one is sitting at the back of a rackmount PC blasting all of its hot air right past the cable for the most part. It was getting toasty, and I am near the limits of what HDMI2.1 (without DSC) is designed to do. I might technically be outside of spec with all the heat hitting it. I reached out to RUIPRO's support email on their website and had a reply in no time. Support staff was quick to send out a different version that so far has worked perfectly. From the time of my email to receiving this other cable was less than 48hrs. I asked a couple technical follow-up questions and it sounds like their non-certified cable receives more frequent updates (due to recertification constraints). Sure enough, the updated cable has had no issues (for the few hours I've been using it at least).

lasted only 1 year
33' Worked exactly one year. last few months there were some issues where the projector screen would go blank, or the picture blinked. Now blank and projector says no signal. I still had my 10 year old 2.0 up there and it works fine

Certified and work very well
High quality cables. They deliver true video signal over long distance. 3 months of use, very stable. Pricey but they are certified

Hit or miss
The cables are hit or miss. The third cable worked for me while other 2 had issue. One was giving completely blank video while for other one video for 1 sec than followed by 3 sec blank screen. But the third one worked fine no issues. Although I am using 1080p only so no big deal on performance I can tell. Using it for 2 weeks working good.

Works great, appears to be genuine
I'm running a projector 4k@60hz at about 40ft from the amplifier. It connects and syncs almost immediately when starting up. The cable is also nice and flexible, easily uncoiled and straightened out so it can be run though the cable conduit. I used the HDMI app to get the code on the box of the cable and it seems to check out as a genuine 2.1 cable, same brand and model number. This was my main concern with buying on Amazon as there are probably more fraudsters then honest retailers in this category of products .

Great Cable, Even Better Customer Service
Replaced a flickering / signal-dropping cheap HDMI cable and had great results. Almost a year later, the cable starting having intermittent video drop-outs and degraded over the course of about a week to the point where it was blacking out every minute or so. I reached out to RuiPro and they immediately sent me a replacement cable with expedited shipping. It was almost exactly 24 hours between when I contacted customer service and received my replacement cable...I cannot be more impressed with their customer service. The new cable works perfectly, so far.

Good!
I bought this HDMI fiber optic cable and was really impressed with its performance. Unfortunately, it stopped working after six months, but the seller was incredibly quick to send me a replacement. The new one has been working perfectly ever since. Great product and excellent customer service—highly recommend!

I’ve been disappointed in the past by two other brands of optical HDMI cables that developed flickering after just a few months. RUIPRO came highly recommended on forums, and while it’s priced at double the others, the build quality is unmistakably superior. The cable is noticeably thicker than the last ones I had, the connectors stay far cooler, and the overall feel is much more robust. It also comes with a lifetime warranty from a company that’s been around for years, giving me confidence it’ll be honoured if something ever goes wrong. So far the cable performs flawlessly with my TCL C7K TV and an RTX 5070 Ti: I get ALLM, VRR at 4K 120 Hz with HDR and full 10‑bit colour depth without any issues. Time will tell if it continues to hold up, but for now it’s delivering on its promise.

Tried a number of other brands of cables that just weren’t up to the task, albeit advertised as capable. Handles 4K/120Hz, 10-bit, Dolby Atmos, and HDR over long distances with zero issues. Super slim, flexible, and reliable so far. If you’re running HDMI through walls or across a room, this is the cable that just works(up to now)!

I bought 3 of these 10mtr cables. Each one of them have performed beyond my expectations. The picture produced is the best I've seen in a HDMI cable of it's quality, can the likes of Phoossno, Audioquest or Bullet Train do better for the money? I had considered going for the 15mtr cables, however upon checking my requirements, the 10 mtr cables worked out fine. I wholeheartedly recommend this HDMI optical cable, This is an outstanding product. Thank you, Ruipro Awesome!!

First off, this works fine for me at 4K 120Hz HDR with VRR. I can't comment on ARC or CEC however since my use case is from a PC. My only gripe is that I was expecting a thin smooth cable like the one pictured, but received a very substantial "ribbed" one instead. When cables of this length are often going to be buried in walls or in conduit, the thickness and ease of pulling through is a very important consideration, and I don't appreciate the misrepresentation, especially at this price point.
