Love this product! I use it to coat my tofu before baking or pan-frying and it gives such a nice crispy texture. Clean, simple, and works perfectly.

Still getting used to using arrow root. I loved that it was packaged with in the ziplock package to prevent spoilage or spillage. Quite a lot for the price. Soft similar to powdered sugar but not sweet. Great health benefits!

I started using arrowroot powder before it was "in thing" to be gluten sensitive. Back in the day when nobody knew or thought about allergies and sensitivities to food. Back when people scoffed those of us who were "picky" about our food. Those of us who struggled early on, they call us canaries. In the old days, they would send a canary down into a mine to check if there was enough oxygen. If the canary was pulled back up after a few minutes and it was alive, then the men went down into the mine. If it come up dead .. well, .... the mine was unsafe. I realized that breads and anything made with wheat was making me feel "icky" and I didn't like oatmeal. I was avoiding corn because of the sugar. And someone said arrowroot powder was a good thickening agent. Wasn't expensive back then. It is now. Because it works better than just about any other similar product for the price. This one seems to be as good as any other arrowroot powder that I have used before. Arrowroot is not quite as good as flour, but as a substitute, it works better than most alternatives. Only 1/2 pound. Product of India. Has a foil plastic bound zip lock baggie with all of the product information in a fairly easy to read format and font size. This has a pull tag, but it didn't pull cleanly. Inside is a second sealed bag Should be very fresh coming double packaged. Worked well for us, I could not easily tell that it worked any differently than other brands that we have used through the years.

I made homemade body lotion and added arrowroot powder to make it not greasy. Great value for the size and can even use to make marshmallows!
