Solid fit, looks fantastic, laser is bright, screws fit well. Paddle on front takes decent pressure to activate.

This Laser Grip works as intended. Well worth the money. Great for darker areas at realistic defensive distances. Rechargeable battery with the momentary pressure switch used for range practice drills lasted through the session which was much longer than any real life threatening encounter. Please understand any laser is NOT going to be very visible/ discernable in bright sunlight so don't buy it for that. Don't confuse laser sights with reflex optics. Two different animals.

I purchased this laser sight for a CO2 replica full size 1911 (Springfield Armory). I have old eyes and can choose to see the sight reasonably clearly or the target...not both. Seniors will understand that comment. The laser sight takes care of that problem entirely. I now can see the green dot clearly on the target so my shooting pattern tightened up dramatically. I found the install to be very straight forward and easy. Sighting in was not difficult at all. So far, I have had no issues with the laser staying locked in position. Others have indicated problems in that area. It could be because this is on a BB gun with light recoil on the blowback function. The on/off switch takes a little effort to get used to but works fine so far. It has to be somewhat firm to operate, as it is directly involved with your hand grip and would be constantly cycling on and off while shooting, if not. It is a very reasonable price compared to alternatives for 1911's. I definitely would recommend this sight for, at least, CO2 BB guns with no accessory rails. UPDATE: I purchased a second identical 1911 CO2 BB gun and also purchased a second identical Darkfang Laser Grip. Did not have a good experience with this one. After installing and trying to align the sight, I had a problem with the laser cutting off when I tried to adjust the vertical position on the gun. I could not get the sight set in a usable position and keep the laser functioning...had to return it and decided not to re-buy. I am still satisfied with the performance of the initially purchased one and it continues to perform just fine.

So if you don’t keep this grip charged. It’s gonna stop working. I’ve already gone though at least for of these grips already. The grips are great and feel good in my hand, but it’s laser pointer is not gonna last long nor will its battery. Laser pointer color, which is green is excellent sadly battery life will not last too long. Installation on your 1911 is excellent. battery life on laser pointer not so good.

Love it if they got one for the beretta 92fs most definitely would buy it! The placement isnt that bad like everyone makes it out to be. You either adapt to life or you fall off. Is all ill say to those people. But great product and homes up. Love it

Great value for the $. They are well made and the G10 grips are great. The laser can be turned on or can be pressed and released for instinctive activation. However, one major design flaw as others have noted is that the button location is too low on the grip between the index and ring fingers so instinctive activation is not really instinctive. The one saving grace is that it can be turned on and stays on for target shooting which is what I use it for. I would rely on this for a carry gun. If they fix this flaw Crimson Trace will have real competition for 1911 laser sights.
