Hi, the connector is USB A not USB C, if you have only USB A you wont be able to connect it. Yes the 3.5mm jack has both receive and transmit. Hope this helps.

Q: Do these block out external noise whilst on a teams call, I have a problem with very noisy dogs barking?

Hi, It has a noise cancelling microphone to drown out the background noise but how it will deal with dogs barking I am not to sure Thanks Keithj

About 2 meters if you use the usb connection and maybe 1.2 meters in case you use the 3 mm plug. The cable can be separated at the manual control in the middle of the cable.
