A very enjoyable addition to your Clank! base version
I purchased this expansion a few weeks ago and tried it with my friends. It was really fun. Since the rules remain the same, it is very easy to learn for those who already know the base version. First of all, visually the new board is very cool and is split in 4 regions. The curse mechanic is a nice addition along with the mummy that randomly moves around the different regions whenever you have to roll the new four sided die. The new cards give new variety. If you enjoy the base game, you'll love this expansion.

My favorite Clank expansion
Clank is one of my favorite games currently, I’ve bought everything released so far and have played numerous games with each expansion. Now that my resume is out of the way...this is my favorite expansion so far. It adds a touch of randomness to the board to keep players engaged (the mummy moving) and is the direction they need to go with future expansions. New cards are always good but I strongly recommend keeping the expansions separate, you can mix some cards but others are far less useful unless you’re using the mechanics of a specific board.

Very fun
Clank is my favorite board game. This add on is great and fun to play. It was easy to set up and fairly easy to incorporate into the original game.

Great addition to the Clank games
This expansion offers a new twist to the Clank games. I like the addition of having an opponent (the mummy) move around the board. The cards are a lot like the original card game but with a mummy theme. We play this game a lot and enjoy it as a family.

A great addition to the Clank! games that adds a mummy element to give you even more of a challenge. *must own original game*

Good Expansion, but could live without
So, I should start by saying that Clank is my favorite game. I love it. I have Clank base game, the mummy board, just got the sunken treasures, Clank catacombs, and just got clank adventuring party. I'm a big fan of the game. That being said, the Mummy board added some fun mechanics, but they didn't come in play as much as I would have liked. This expansion adds a mummy to the mix (FUN!) along with some cards. Maybe it's because I usually play this with only two people (myself and my boyfriend) but we didn't cycle through enough cards to get a lot of the mummy deck. Since you mix the mummy cards with the base deck, the odds of getting a mummy card in the dungeon row isn't huge. It happens, but not often enough in my opinion. For the most part that doesn't matter, BUT it can be vital for making the mummy move around the board (some cards, when they arrive to the dungeon row, make you roll the Mummy dice to determin which section of the board the mummy moves to). The mummy moving around the board is a huge driving mechanic for this expansion. This game incorporates curses, which you don't want. Curses happen when you take certain paths, when the mummy moves to your section of the board, or some cards will make you take a curse (instead of clank). To get rid of curses, you need to fight the mummy (like the goblin that's always available to fight) but in order to fight the mummy you need to be in the same section of the board as him. Since the mummy wasn't moving much with two player mode, but boyfriend and I added some house rules where the mummy moved at the end of every round, or whenever an artifact was picked up. We played around with it to spruce it up, and that made it more fun for us. Aside from the lack of mummy movement when following the regular rules, we love it. It changes the board for us when we want to change pace. I also LOVE Kittypatra (favorite card)
