Cheaper but much better than others.
I considered the RAM version of this and a Scotty one. Both plastic and way more expensive. This one looks good and is heavy and substantial aluminum. The ball connections are strong and it’s hard to move the balls around when the handle is tightened a reasonable amount. The mounting plate matched my Simrad NSX 9” bail hole pattern perfectly.

Fit a 10” Garmin graph with no issues. Aluminum construction is durable.

Seems on par with big brands but not sure about alloy
Got this as a gift. I’m not exactly sure what is alloy or aluminum on this. Seems like it is all some sort of plastic, but feels similar to a Scotty mount. We will see how long is last, I would wait for this to go on sale before you buy this.

Compatible with Garmin Striker 5”
High qualityJust what I needed,however mounting screws were NOT included in the box with the shipment. I had to make a trip to Acr Hardware to buy bolts to attach to Garmin fish finder and bolts to mount to the dashboard of my boat.
