My 4-year-old daughter has had problems with scalp dryness off and on since she was a baby. She recently developed terrible dry skin on her head which looked like cradle cap. She has blonde, softly curling hair that is quite fine so I was worried that this might be too heavy for her hair. I put this oil on her hair for about 1 hour and then rubbed her scalp with a soft toothbrush. Then, I washed her hair. The oil made her hair softer and her curls looked lovely. I have not tried using this on her hair without washing it afterwards. It smells wonderful and it completely fixed her dry scalp. I have now been using it on her scalp prior to washing her hair regularly since purchasing. Her curls look fantastic after treating them with this and it is easier to brush through the curly hair while it is went after using this. Excellent product.

My daughter has been having a dry scalp for a couple of weeks now. The usual moisturizer/leave in conditioners were just now working. I was researching the best solutions for dry scalps and I kept seeing hair oils. I found this product on Amazon 3 days ago. I received it yesterday. I applied to my daughter’s hair after washing it and put in a protective hairstyle over night. This morning I didn’t need any detangler or moisturizer. I was able to brush right through her hair and there was SIGNIFICANTLY less dry patches. Her hair has never been so curly and full of life. I am excited to see the continued improvement of the dryness of her hair. Just a tip, a little of those goes along way.

I am so very plesed with this oil!! I have tried EVERYTHING for my 3 yr old's hair and nothing could provide moisture for longer than about 5 hours. This oils moisturizes her hair for DAYS! I was ready to turn cartwheels. I used it on myself first and it feels so nice in our hair and very soothing on the scalp. I will cry real tears if this is ever discontinued. Update 7/23/18: I have a love/hate relationship with this oil. I still love the way it moisturized our hair BUT I noticed after the 1st bottle my scalp would get very sore the next day after using the oil. The soreness lasts maybe a full 24 hrs but it makes me not want to use the oil at all. I’ve seen small bumps come up in my daughter’s scalp who is 5 now but she’s never said they hurt or itch. Because of these issues I now use this oil very sparingly on the scalp but a normal amount on the hair itself. I had to deduct a star for the update.

I've only had this oil for a few days so I don't know if it has a significance impact. I originally bought it for my extremely dry curly thin hair with breakage for some extra hydration. This oil is super thin smells amazing and just a few drops goes a long way for me. I'm using it on the scalp and massage and from mid length to ends. I would recommend this oil for someone that has similar hair & problem areas . Does not leave your scalp greasy at all !

This stuff really works to give my baby girls (5 months old) hair some moisture-- comes out of the bottle a little fast though so be careful with that. And a little bit goes a long way.
