T0MMY BAHAMA 8 ft Beach Umbrella with wind vent and sand anchor

We saw a couple on the beach with this umbrella and asked them where they purchased it and of course they said Amazon. We were sitting under our umbrella, trying to keep it from blowing away in the wind. This umbrella comes built, not to blow away, with vent and sand anchor. It’s very easy to set up. You have the comfort of knowing that it is not going to blow away with the wind and potentially hurt someone. It looks great. The only problem is it works so well that everybody has them so you can’t count on using your umbrella to find your spot after you walk or a swim.

Love this beach umbrella! Was in a beach with strong winds and even though other umbrellas were flying this one stood in place. It’s pretty big to cover a couple of people perfectly. Have gotten lots of compliments on the umbrella. Would buy again for sure.

I recently took the Tommy Bahama 8-Foot Beach Umbrella on a weekend beach trip, and I couldn’t be happier with it! It’s incredibly spacious, providing more than enough shade for two adults and even some beach gear underneath. What impressed me the most is how sturdy and wind-resistant it is. While other umbrellas around us were tipping over, this one stayed solid thanks to its built-in sand anchor and strong pole design. Even on a breezy day, it held up beautifully! Also, it was super easy to set up. I had it up and ready in under five minutes, without needing any extra tools or help.

I've always had Tommy Bahama umbrellas. I like the brand and the quality has always been excellent. This new product with the new base was nice and it did hold in the sand better than the previous ones, bit it is a bit quirky to get put in to the sand. You need a bit of elbow grease/strength to get it anchored especially that the base is cumbersome. Otherwise I'd still buy it again.

I love how lightweight it is and it’s easy for me to set up by myself. Having shade on the Florida beaches is a must!

This is quality umbrella. I searched many umbrellas for my beach trip and this one looked the best. It definitely was worth the purchase. It was very easy to put up at the beach and was very stable, even in the wind. Quality is ok a good value for the money. Saw many of this same umbrella at beach so everyone seems to agree.

Haven’t used yet but I can see right away it’s gonna be a problem in the wind. Whatever that square of cloth is at the bottom of the pole prevents the pole from going into the sand far enough. Newsflash. You need to get that pole deep into the sand to prevent wind damage. I’ll just use my old pole but this was very disappointing.
