Excellent TV!
I purchased the LG 77-Inch Class OLED evo G4 Series Smart TV. Excellent TV. Great picture, vivid colors, easy setup. The room where this TV is located is very bright, yet even dark scenes are easily visible. Although the specs stated, "Wall Mount", I was curios to know if it could also sit on a stand and so I asked the question, "Does this come with a stand?" Response: "The LG 77-Inch Class OLED evo G4 Series Smart TV does come with a stand."It does not!So if you're looking for a TV to sit on an entertainment center or some other piece of furniture, this is not for you.

Best OLED
I had an 83" C2 before this set. The extra brightness and color volume make this a great set. Have the brightness set at 30 and plenty of light even during the day. The mount is easy to install.

Best TV I've ever owned
Never leaving my house again. The picture clarity and colors on this TV are astounding. I never thought a TV could be this clear and bring such life to movies. No matter what I watched, it was as if I was experiencing it for the first time. This TV has THAT kind of an affect. I use my PS5 as my entertainment hub and instantly after just loading up the main menu I was blown away. I stared at the menu icons just appreciating how crystal clear everything was. I instantly started pulling up my favorite movies and rewatching them. I went with the 83" version and it feels like I am in a movie theater. I went from a 65" and this upgrade feels huge. LOVE the size.Con - Kind of...The sound with the built-in speakers on this thing isn't all that great. However! I am used to having a sound bar attached to my TV and continue to use it with this one. The TV has a great AI feature to dial in your sound settings and performs test using the tv remote as a mic to adjust settings. Alongside using the speakers of the TV AND the sound bar in unison, the sound is amazing. This isn't for everyone, but tbh if you are getting an 83" TV that costs this much, you are not getting it for the amazing sound clarity. Invest in a home theater audio setup to go along with it or at the very least a cheap sound bar. Can't recommend this TV enough. Love it.

Amazing quality AND comes with the mounting unit
I've been an Amazon customer for many years, and this might be my first review. I check reviews a lot so it's time to include one!The mount that comes with this TV is small and is designed to fit into the back when it's pushed back. Thus making it look very close the wall (image 2). Cable slots in the back to snap them in. No ties required!Bluetooth compatible so I listen with my wireless headphones. I've never had a TV that could to that.Easy settings interface. And last but first...WHAT AN IMAGE!!! Picture modes Vivid, Standard, 2 Cinema modes, Filmmaker mode plus another you can personalize. So clear and vivid in all modes. Just have to play with them based on what you're watching. 4K shows are amazingly clear. Nothing compares.

Great picture, terrible software experience
The OLED panel itself is excellent with beautiful picture, deep blacks, and great brightness. Unfortunately, LG has ruined the experience with webOS.The app selection is limited compared to Android TV or Google TV. Many apps you’d expect, like Paramount, can’t be installed without creating an LG account and agreeing to heavy-handed marketing permissions. IP Channels (really just Pluto TV) is forced into the input list and cannot be removed. This is clearly a monetization deal that comes at the expense of the customer experience. You cannot install apps as freely as you can on the Google Play Store, and sideloading is not supported. The UI is overly complicated; you often need to look up tutorials or even ask AI assistants just to find simple settings. Advertising is baked into the system, and LG is clearly tracking viewing habits. There is no straightforward way to opt out.The hardware is outstanding, but the interface, lack of app freedom, forced ads, and intrusive data collection make this a frustrating TV to actually use. A shame, because the display itself deserves much better software.

83” G4- simply amazing
This Oled is regarded as the best tv available for 2024, and boy it doesn’t disappoint. The size alone is by far the biggest I’ve owned all the while fitting against the wall as flush as can be for any flatscreen tv. Wall mounting was a task that requires 2 strong individuals and still being very careful as the size alone can make balancing difficult. The design and build quality is amazing, second only to the picture quality. HDR and Dolby Vision are simply stunning. Sound quality at this price level is mediocre at best but then again if you’re buying the top of the line model you probably also have a surround sound system at home already so no loss of stars for me.I did end up returning this tv only because I found a lower price elsewhere that was hard to pass up, doesn’t change how impressive this tv is.

Highly rated with minor annoyances; value lacking for the average viewer
Great picture quality, excellent contrast, and decent speakers. Sadly this line of TVs is prone to crackling and noises as the housing heats up during operation. Unless you’re obsessive about picture quality you’re better off with the LG C line or a comparable Samsung. The value isn’t there at these price ranges for this type of flaw. You won’t notice the drop from the G line to C unless you’re comparing them side by side.
