Oven Bulbs 300` C 240V SES Base 15W Bulb X 2 Lamps

Although the bulbs received were in bubble wrap rather than as illustrated they were the correct product and they worked. This was the best price I could find and none of my local DIY or supermarkets carried this style. Arrived quickly and well packed. All bulbs have a finite life so why pay more?

I bought these (not for my oven, but) for my tumble dryer. I tried several other types of (oven-proof) bulbs before, but they did not last long. These ones seem to be the real deal. Still work great after two months. Happy with the purchase, will update my review if needed. In summary: if you are looking for bulbs for your tumble-dryer, these are recommended.

I had needed an 'ordinary' one of these bulbs for a light and while searching around my house I found the oven used the same size but one of those wasnt working either after reading lots of reviews on amazon and elsewhere it seems that some people buy or are sold the normal ses fit pygmy bulbs and then...surprise surprise...these break in the oven, even fracturing and causing cuts when removed..nasty. I assume the glass for 300C is tougher I will wait and see how long these last for and update if it fails quickly but it's nice to have a spare [and cheaper than buying even one in a or lighting or diy shop] lastly i did look and it IS possible to get LED replacements for this size bulb [there's a 2W Megaman] but the cheapest I could find was £7.99 plus £2 p&p so nearly 10x the price and without any indication whether suitable for use in the oven, so I decided to stick to old fashioned tech

Within two days of fitting this bulb, it had broken! For something that purports to give 1000 hours of service, the bulbs DO NOT live up to expectations. The bulb heads are also more squat than other well known makes, which can cause extra difficulty when fitting in confined spaces. The bulbs I received however are rubbish and not fit for purpose. They are certainly not worth the money either. My advice is buy a better brand!

one bulb fitted in oven fine, works but the packaging is awful, tiny bubble wrap and nothing else, not in the card wrapper as described!

these things are great. simply replace the old bulb and "hey presto" you can see where the smoke is coming from it took a week from dispatch to delivery ~ which is hardly a flash (bulb), other than that, top shelf

Useful to have a twin pack so there'll be time to order new ones next time a bulb fails. The hardest thing when replacing the old bulb was getting it out! Had to break it and get a pair of pliers to extract the remnants.
