Josh Young is a true gem and talent - his artistic eye is apparent in how he designs, decorates and dotes on the details effortlessly. After being a huge fan of his art & Instagram account I was so excited for his debut book. The content of the book is timeless, inspiring and full of decorating depth and detail with its beautiful content and photography. The physical book is also a piece of art - removing the (beautiful) dust jacket reveals one of his iconic beautiful floral silhouette paintings and is a decor object itself. Bravo Josh on this masterpiece - looking forward to following your career, homes and your wonderful personality!

As a long-time follower of Josh’s art and home interiors, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to support his first book, *The Artful Home*. I also happen to own a few of his art pieces, which I adore. From the moment you open the book, you're drawn into a world where art and design seamlessly blend to create spaces that are not only visually captivating but also deeply personal. Worth the wait!!! I follow Josh Young's social media account and knew this book would be the most beautiful to look through. What I did not expect and am so delighted to see are the stories, shared memories and personal notes about design and art woven throughout these pages. It feels like such a personal work. It's an inspired book that was made to be read and flipped through often...always another note of inspiration waiting among the pages. I spent the morning flipping through pages and then found myself inspired and moving things around my home. This book is lovely. This book is inspiring. This book would make a beautiful gift and be a lovely addition to any home. Warmest congratulations to Josh Young. Well done!

When Josh announced that he'll be publishing his design book in September, I could hardly wait to see it and signed up to receive it the day it came out. It was worth the wait. The photos and layout are beautiful and rich with detailing that is wonderful to see close up. I also love his art which is so unique. It gave me hours of pleasure to sit and relax and see his amazing homes. His decorating is impeccable and so inspiring. I am still not "done" reading it and return over and over to look at the book that now proudly sits on my coffee table. I am sure it will give me more pleasure and hours of turning the pages for years to come. Ann Nicol

I’ve followed this author for some time on Instagram and was delighted to hear he was writing a book. It’s absolutely beautiful, the photography stunning, as it always is with Rizzoli. On trying to understand why I like Mr Young’s style so much, I realised that whilst his interiors are mostly neutral in design, they’re certainly not minimal. For those of us who love to see the clashing patterns and colour in traditional English design but find it too ‘noisy’ to actually live in, this is the perfect solution. A limited palette but making use of texture and light. Again, it does display the tendency in these books now to look beautiful but I would have liked a little more about the ‘how’. I’ve noticed this more and more; exquisite books but leave you to figure out yourself paint, lighting, fabrics etc. and that’s why four stars rather than five.
