Originally, I had left a one star. I was thinking this was the flea med that a family member tried, that did not even slow the fleas at all, that resulted in 2 cats dying the same night. but I was mistaken. This was the treatment we bought AFTER they died. The next day after burying them. We used ONE TUBE, split in half; at a 1/3rd ratio on both cats. One cat was small so she got 1/3rd of a tube. The larger cat got 2/3rds of a tube. Using the weight on the packages this was perfect weight to med ratios. That left us a second tube for the following duration of time. IT DID SLOW THE FLEAS! But it didn't stop them. The house is infested. I didn't expect miracles. I do not live at this house, but one of the cats that passed was my cat. Anyways don't be like my family member, don't wait till its too late. Stop those little demons from Hell right now, before they infest your life and kill your cats, because fleas CAN certainly kill your cats. They did ours. So in summary this med worked OK. Not perfect, but given the circumstances, it did pretty good.

Killed flees on 28 lb Maine Coon but flees returned before the monthly re treatment time. That is not really unexpected since it does not claim to kill eggs or larva but the Advantage II dis so that is what I would recommend for extra large cats.

Works well for my cat and seem safer than some of those real cheap flea drops. No real smell.

Having used the vet prescribed version of Advantage Flea treatment for cats, I was familiar with the quick solution it provided until my Vet office changed to promoting another brand I found costly, and not as effective. I was more than pleased to find that Advantage flea treatments were no longer only vet prescribed, available here for ordering and at half the price I paid for vet only treatments that I found nowhere near as effective. No Werid reactions when used on my cats as the other brand seemed to induce occasionally either. AS they may get a little crabby, but thats not a skin reaction & I can live with their being mad for a bit as long as the fleas are gone? And gone they are, trust me! So pros are the cost, the lack of Werid reactions after placing on the uppers shoulder areas, safety assured, and extremely effective in flea control. Cons, well none for the cats, but think my vet is a bit disappointed I am not paying for flea treatments from his office any longer. I can live with that also, as he's a great vet, but not needed to supply my cats with good flea control any longer! Direct from here! I am putting Advantage flea treatments for felines on auto ship so I can forget about NOT forgetting to order. Delivered to my door on time to where they do not have to be unprotected ever again! Im happy they are not having to stop every 2 minutes to scratch, then I swore I was itchy also! Lol. None of that anymore! Thank you Advantage!
