Great to cover gray hair!
Best for cover gray hair without hair dyes! I am hooked! I have small patch of gray hair in front, so I use it as my 2nd shampoo. I usually to double cleanse. Whenever I did not use this shampoo, my gray hair is more noticeable.

does not work at all
It has a new label and after trying it, it looks like the formula has changed too, because it doesn't work at all. The old formula worked well. It got rid of the gray hair but it is no longer available. This new one does not work at all. Don't even try it it's a waste of money.

Parents love it!
I got these for my parents and they loved it so much I decided to order the large size for christmas presents for all the aunts and uncles in my family! They love how easy it is, just apply it like normal shampoo and wait around 10-15 minutes for it to really soak in and just rinse off. They started noticing the results after about 5 washes, so it does take some time for the hair to be darker, but it's worth the wait. They prefer this over traditional hair dyes as it smells better and it doesn't irritate their scalp like box hair dyes. The color is also a nice natural dark brown so it blends in very well with the roots without looking like they dyed their hair.

It does work for me
It does work without messing up with your bathroom because unlike other dying products, this doesn’t have tinted ingredients. It’s naturally darkening, but also you need to know how to use it. I only use it once a week, but first, I apply the shampoo near my scalp before getting wet, to cover the roots. Then I start the shower and I mix it with just a little bit of water and let it sit for few more minutes until I almost finish with the shower. Then I rinse it thoroughly (as amy shampoo, you shouldn’t leave shampoo residue on your scalp) and apply some conditioner. I wish Moda Moda offers a conditioner as well, but by now I use other hair treatment. This way, you will notice a visible darkening after the first use. I recommend it to people who have spotted gray hair and don’t want to dye the entire hair with chemicals.

New Formulation
The new formulation has a chemical smell and is more difficult to wash out. Really like the original, but my understanding is that they were required to change the formula. Its called “black” but it’s really brown.

Okay so far
I had been using the old formula for about three years and was satisfied with the results. I’ve only been using this updated version a few weeks. I like the more compact bottle and the new smell. The best way I can describe it is almost like oak, but it’s not strong. It is nicer than the old antiseptic scent. Also, I noticed that my hair is soft after washing it with this new version of the shampoo. Definitely an improvement over the old version and so far It seems to be as effective. Time will tell. For new users, I don’t know how long it will take to get results (it took about 8 weeks with the old version) and if the transition from that funny pink to dark brown will still happen. I do know I haven’t had to go to the salon to color my gray hair in three years as I grow it out. My hair is long and I didn’t want to cut it or deal with a demarcation line. This product has been a savior for me. I do use a purple shampoo and conditioner once in a while to deal with the brassy tones my hair gets. And, one last note, it really doesn’t get the hair black like the pictures show, or it hasn’t for me. It’s more of an auburn color. It looks like the highlights I used to pay so much for.

Total IO Tax !
Total IQ tax! Don't be fooled. It turned my nails black in no time. The whole "polyphenol" story is a joke. I did my research on the ingredients and found it’s actually just synthetic dye CI 20470. How is this not fraud? The polyphenols do basically nothing; they’re just a gimmick to hide the chemicals. Such a scam!

Good
It works for me. Since I have used it, I don't need to dye for my grey hairs.
