Great for Watercolors
At first I doubted the usefulness of these brushes because they are not the typical watercolor brushes I have used. I was quite surprised at their effectiveness and versatility. I painted the cactus with one these brushes and think it came out rather well.I like that with one squeeze the perfect amount of water is dispensed. I imagine they would work very well for traveling or plein-air.The bristles stain but clean up well with no transfer or bleed over from previous colors. They are easy to fill and the paint does not back up into the belly of the brush as other brands do.Highly recommend.

Great water brushes
These are a great mixture of water brush sizes. There are 3 rounded with a fine point of various sizes and one flat brush. I would recommend these and if these wear out I would buy again.

Not all water brushes are the same!
I have had some really awful experiences with water brushes until now. I watched Diane Antone do a You Tube tutorial using the Kuretake brush, and decided to try one more time. I am glad I did. Between these brushes and Diane's excellent explanation my first try was a very nice surprise. I really like the thickness of the water barrel, but it is still easy to dispense water. The brush cleans up nicely, and has a nice snappy point. Surprisingly these brushes hold a good amount of paint. The valve in the top of the water barrel keeps leakage at bay. Filling can be done in a couple of ways. I found placing it under a faucet was as easy as submerging in water and squeezing. Three squeezes and your brush is full.

Good brushes
These watercolor brushes work well. Water flow can be hard to control but most watercolor water brushes are like that.

Great Brushes
These are easy to fill and clean. I carry an old athletic sock in my kit and just have to wipe the brush off between colors. It cleans right up. They hold a lot of water and I haven’t had to refill when in the field.

Kuretake is simply the BEST!
These are wonderful. Varied sizes are perfect for all your needs. Convenient and so easy to use. If you like hand lettering these are perfect. Paint beautifully, easy to control and do not leak. Great for travel. I’ve tried different brands and always return to Kuretake.

I'm Lovin' These
I usually paint in a very controlled manner. After owning a waterbrush that I didn't use for several years, I was suddenly inspired break out of my habit of highly detailed controlled painting to explore the possibilities of working wet and loose, so I bought this set. I'm addicted to these waterbrushes. I've finally figured out how to use them and it's like being in a whole new exciting world. It's easy to control the amount of water released when painting and the convenience of being able to paint without a jar of water is a huge positive for someone like me who likes to take my watercolors with me. The water in the brushes lasts a surprisingly long time before they need to be refilled. I'm happy!

Buying again because they’re the best!
Got my first Kuritake water brush 20 years ago. Never failed me and is my favorite brush, although after 20 years it’s starting to fray a bit at the end. I purchased these for my sister and now for myself to replace my old reliable. They work so well and I’ve never had a problem with filling or using, unlike other brands!

Nice for beginners
I am a beginner so I'm not sure what a "proper" brush should feel like, but I really like using these. They're very easy to work with as a beginner. As with all water brushes, you have to be careful not to suck up paint into the container. It's possible to avoid this (just watch a tutorial on YouTube on how to use these), but in my opinion it's easier to just use a pot of water if you are able to.

Great for using on the move outdoors, and indoors good for children, much less splashing and mess..
Great to take out with a little box of watercolour pans for quick pen/pencil sketches and washes. Grab the brushes, fill up with water and you're away. Easy to refill from a water bottle if you need to.Also, good indoors, nice selection of brushes. You get 4 brushes of various sizes.

Top Notch
There's plenty of other brands of water pens out there but many I've tried have leaked. This brand I've used for about 5 years now and have no complaints whatsoever. Highly recommend.
