Light Start Powder Drink Mix, Rich Milk Chocolate, 8 Packets

Carnation Breakfast Essentials is very rich and chocolatey. It's got a good flavor and it's very easy to mix with , it gives me plenty of energy, and I enjoy it quite well except the no sugar added version that I bought is almost three times more expensive than the original Carnation Breakfast Essentials. My only complain is the cost

I am a 28 yr public school teacher and every school day I would bring a Carnation Inst Breakfast drink to enjoy at morning recess- a healthy pick me up (especially during PE days!)

I noticed the 'light' version replaces the 'sugar free' version in packaging and also some very minor ingredients (it used to be just artificial sugar, now it's a smidge of regular sugar and artificial) but other than this, it's great ! I drink this due to some medical issues and sensitive tummy, and it always tastes good and helps me give me energy when needed. Hoping the other flavors come in light too !

THIS PRODUCT IS LOWER IN SUGAR AND THAT IS THE REASON I TRIED IT. I'D RATE IT A 7 IN TASTE. FAIRLY PRICEY.

i like this stuff because it gets me going in the morning. i am not one of these people who can go all day without eating....tides me over until i can eat some real food. tasty. nowhere near the amount of sugar that the regular mix does. i have been a fan of this for years. also makes a good snack sometimes. i order it for months at a time.

I bought these as a sensible meal option for the mornings when I have no time to make breakfast. The problem is they taste so good I drink them for snacks and then they’re gone. 5 stars for quality, taste, and convenience, but too addictive to save for necessity.

I mix in a blender with 2% milk, ice cubes, sometimes a sugar free flavoring, cocoa, and instant coffee. Another option with the milk and ice cubes is a cut up frozen banana and sometimes peanut butter powder. There is also a vanilla variety in the Light Start option that can be mixed in so many ways. I make one of these most days; carbs aren't too crazy and they help me stay on track. My only grumble is that the box of "light start" has two fewer servings that the regular sugar variety and they usually are the same price.
