Visual Journalism: Infographics from the World's Best Newsrooms and Designers Hardcover – October 9, 2017

I bought this for my journalist daughter and she loves it. In addition to containing a lot of great information, it is very well put together and a quality product in general.

I bought this book at my husband’s request and he is extremely happy with it. The content is very good and he uses it very often as a reference for his work as a scientific illustrator

Really beautiful and gorgeously illustrated book. Features a whole lot of fantastically creative infographics with great detail.

I found this book a remarkable collection of pictured data from the media, the range of illustrations is very broad and some of them are so eye-catching that you'll spend some time appreciating the amount of time and creativity involved. On the other hand, some pages display work that appeared in print that I doubt many readers bothered to look at twice, not everything can be presented in pictorial form.The book's large size helps display the material and there are four fold-out pages. Various infographic designers have essays revealing their thoughts on the subject and all the work has captions (though no dates). The publishers decided to do away with a Contents page and a slight annoyance is that several spreads with one image have a white gutter up the middle, while others do not.The perfect complement to 'Visual journalism' is Tachen's huge 'Information graphics' with 482 pages and was published in 2012. ISBN 978 3836528795 (later editions are smaller in size).

É uma obra de arte em todos os aspectos: aborda uma temática muito interessante; está muito bem escrito e a investigação que foi necessária fazer para o criar revela-se muito intensa; está muito bem impresso; o papel é da melhor qualidade e a encardernação é da melhor qualidade que já tenho visto. Por todos estes aspectos e mais o facto de ser uma autoridade nesta matéria este livro vale o seu peso em ouro! Excelente aquisição! Recomendo grandemente a sua aquisição.

Excellent examples, great quality of the book.

Mi aspettavo tante belle infografiche ed esempi di questo tipo anche molto recenti, alcuni di belli se ne trovano ma è anche da dire che ci sono alcune tavole un po' datate, magari avrebbe giovato l'uso di lavori con una grafica più attuale.Comunque il libro è molto bello e per chi è appassionato del genere è consigliato!

Magnífico ejemplar donde se muestra el trabajo y trayectoria de los grandes maestros de la infografía, así como de todo ese ramillete de talentos que vienen por detrás y que ya están brillando, si cabe, a su misma altura. Muy recomendable
