Worthwhile SSHD Technology
This Seagate 2TB Firecuda is performing better than my expectations.I replaced my 1TB working bootable (win7) Seagate Barracuda drive with this Firecuda by using Seagate Discwizzard for cloning. Immediately after cloning, I neither experienced any performance improvement in Boot & Shutdown nor in Software loading. I am NOT a gamer. I am Embedded and Visual Software Developer and Hardware Engineer. Since the product is primarily advertised for gaming, I didn't keep much expectation in speed improvement for my kind of usage. I was just happy with 5 years warranty, which means product is likely to be more robust. It seems that over a period, this disk starts "learning" about your pattern of frequently used software. Thus, within few hours of active usage, I have started noticing slight speeding up of Boot and Shutdown. Where I find it is really satisfying is improvement in loading a Software like MS EXCEL and Outlook. Most benefit I see is in loading (usually slow) Eclipse IDE. It really loads very fast now with this Firecuda SSHD. First time, it takes a while to load. All subsequent loads are significantly fast. This was not the case with previous 1 TB Barracuda, which always used to take long to load Eclipse IDE and EXCEL and Outlook etc. The compilation speed is also improved, which is directly linked with my daily throughput. I am sure in few more days, it will realize my usage pattern fully and provide more speed up.I have used SSD as well and obviously this SSHD will not compare even closely with SSD. A plain 2TB disk costs around 5.5K to 6.0K and with additional 2K spent for this one (for longer warranty and small but noticeable/useful speed enhancement), I definitely feel it is worthwhile for my usage pattern. If you don't expect miraculous performance improvement and won't mind spending extra 2K, do give this a try.Additional Note: I wish to add that Browsing speed is also improved noticeably after changing to this SSHD.

Best little trinket for console
Have been using this ssd for few day now on PS4 and Xbox one s and yes on ps4 release edition doesn't provide the features this ssd has to offer best storage and little bit better on transfer the game back and forth from my PS4 hard drive to ssd since it's a external hard drive for the system, but on the other hand xbox one s get the features of fast loading screen better rate of texture being rendered due to usb 3.0 for fast communication and game play on xbox are Cyberpunk asset loading during gun fight are better than base hard drive or better than sata ssd, loading menus are easier to access like for radio station in the car took longer but the effect for that menu pop in was to effect fast than the dial use to render later but with this ssd this feature work propt as soon as you press the radio button,Halo infinite stick to 30 fps and no fame drop I have seen till now no lag been any menu and input, red dead redemption 1 work like a charm, code vein work extremely perfect when on xbox one s, Ac Odyssey and Valhalla world loading was fluidity as possible but held back due to xbox 1 hardware. On ps side the ghost recon breakpoint, ghost tsushima, call of duty work fine but my PS4 is to old and with no usb 3 the power from pci ssd was held back but has similar results as from a sata ssd.The heating was normal since I have a open space for my ps and Xbox so not heating on pci ssd only time I face heating was transferring data of game from hard drive to ssd, but in game play the pci had normal temperature's but no heating.Goes to sleep mod if you playing only if you are AFC(Away from console)or pause the game left it there great features but this technical my case features (case name ssk) please

It's a good SSD but make sure you're on PCIE 4.0
Firecuda 520 is a PCIE gen 4 SSD. You have to remember that before you make a purchase. The good parts:The read speed is rated at 5Gbps and that's not a lie.I play a lot of games and the concept of loading screen with this SSD is almost non-existent (for offline games).I used to be on a SATA SSD before and I can totally notice the difference. Following are the games that I tested:1. Red Dead Redemption 2 (xbox game pass)2. Assassins Creed Odyssey (steam)3. Horizon Zero Dawn (epic store)4. Sekiro Shadows die twice (steam)The games above have loading screen for approx 1-2 seconds. I think it's only as a formality that the games have to show for even that long.I installed Windows in under 5 minutes on this thing, and the bottleneck during the installation was the restart time. The boot up is close to 5 seconds from 0 to full desktop. The bad parts:That said, the write speed of the drive is not 5Gbps, remember that.SSDs usually use a "buffer memory" for writing. While transferring big chunks of files the buffer can overflow and cause even lower write speeds. For example, while I was trying to copy over RDR2 (150GB) from my old ssd to this one, I found the speed reduced from 2.5 Gbps to 500-700 Mbps after a while. (I think after 20Gbs or so).Don't expect good loading time from online games.Borderlands 3, Fall guys, etc usually take much longer than 2 seconds to load because of their bottleneck i.e. the internet. (I use150mbps YouBroadband)I also noticed the SSD (45 degrees) runs a fair bit hotter compared to SATA SSD (38 degrees) while gaming. (Celsius of course.)Conclusion:Do you have a PCIE4 m.2 slot on your motherboard? (Speaking in Sept. 2020 only AMD CPUs have that luxury)Do you have the money and requirement for this speed? (I mean you really don't need it for watching pirated movies, trust me, that's just a waste of money.)If the answer is yes to both of those questions, get it.

Nice
The texture and quality was good. There is very little sound when connected but that’s negligible. Bought it for ₹7199 and considering best purchase as it was both a collection and also storage device. With app provided, colors can be changed accordingly.
