excellent form and function - great choice for anyone who heats water often for tea or cooking
I have been using this for a little over a week now, and it is just what I needed. It is simple, easy to clean, has no plastic, heats fast, easy to use, and it looks really nice. The temperature choices are more than adequate. The boil setting is a great way to clean it. So much good thought and design went into this product, clearly. Why not spend a little more on great quality?

This kettle very well crafted and is beautiful in simplicity but functions very well.
Before buying this beautiful Aarke stainless steel kettle, I read many many reviews and looked at several other of the stainless steel interior electric kettles. I actually bought the Saki Pro kettle, but just returned it because no matter which setting you put it on, the kettle would heat the water to 212 degrees. They said they were planning on sending out a software update to fix this problem. Not sure how that would happen since this is a “dumb” kettle with no internet access. Back to the Aarke kettle. Some reviews said they wished it beeped when it’s done. It DOES beep. You have to turn it on though, just follow their instructions. This kettle heats to 185 degrees in just a couple minutes. It is very quiet compared to the Saki which was very noisy. The Aarke kettle insides are all stainless except for the small piece of a silicone seal at the top. I have used this several times now and don’t regret my purchase at all. If you can afford to pay $250 for a kettle, I highly recommend this one. It is perfect. I don’t think you will be disappointed.

The $ 225 dollar stainless steel kettle - that has failed to work after 3 weeks.
Had to return this product once and the second one stopped working as well! The kettle looks beautiful but is of no use if it stops working within 3 weeks of purchase - twice! I have reached out to Aarke and I am hoping they will get this $225 dollars kettle working again.

Worth Every Penny
I was looking to find a kettle to heat water, but couldn’t find something I really liked, So, I decided to take a chance on this surprisingly expensive device. I was thinking I would likely return it, because it just heats water, right? That it does. But it is the most beautifully designed, perfectly working device I have seen in a long time. It actually lifts my spirits as I go about preparing my French press coffee. The lid opens with the flip of a button, but on a damper. It shows required water minimum and maximum clearly stamped into the stainless steel. The obviously well built coil that very rapidly heats the water lets me know it is serious in what it does. It beeps to let me know it is at that exact temperature, and holding. And, sure enough the water is heated to a series of preset temperatures that accommodate most anyone. I use the 200° setting for French press as my default. I hate clutter, but this device sits permanently on my kitchen counter because it is highly polished and beautiful to see. I find it cathartic to burr grind great dark roast beans that have been vacuum sealed, and use the perfect temperature water to seep the coffee grounds. This elegant water kettle is a big part of that ritual. I HIGHLY recommend it.

It’s almost perfect
The kettle does a quick and quiet job. Aesthetically pleasing silhouette makes it a nice place for an everyday appliance. I took one star off because the company doesn’t make it easy for customers to see all the materials used to build the kettle. I was really hoping there would be no plastic in the kettle itself, but after I bought it, I see there’s plastic in the lid. So if you are looking for a 100% plastic-free kettle, then you’ve got to keep looking. The kettle does keep water hot for a good while, and the outside of the kettle doesn’t get too hot where it’s dangerous to touch. The non-drip pour spout works super well…like I’m not sure you can get a drip even if you tried!

Perfection!!
What to say about this FABULOUS electric kettle. It's so simply programmable to get exactly the heat that you want. It works quickly. It has ZERO plastic!!! so worth the fact that it's a wee bit pricey. Oh, and it's absolutely beautiful ! It looks so nice on the counter it's a perfect mix between modern and transitional and blends nicely into our kitchen! Wish they made a coffee pot! ( and yes I know I can use it after I heat it up as a pour over but I'm lazy!)

I almost searched through every kettle on the market for a good looking and all stainless steel inside. I failed! But my broken Delonghi (used for 13 years) was all stainless steel inside! What is wrong with those kettle making companies??? I finally landed on Aarke: worred that it may be too small (1.2L) as I always used 1.7 L kettles. After it arrived, I used it a few times. I now feel the volume is just fine. It boils water fast and relatively quite. One could get a water kettle for 30 CAD, but this one costs me ~300. My bet is - it will last for a while (at least as long as my Delonghi kettle did).

Very disappointed and I had very high hopes for this kettle. I was sent a used one as it was wet when I opened the box with lots of water marks. Looking beyond that, it felt very lightweight and not too sturdy. Ended up returning it and going to purchase another.
