Great little machine!
Trying to use as few chemicals in our house as possible, we are always looking for alternative cleaning methods. Steam cleaning seems to be a great way to disinfect and clean effectively. We are so pleased with our purchase of the Vapamore MR-100. It's clear that a lot of engineering and design went into this piece of equipment. The size is perfect—very easy to pick up and transport around the house. The cord is just the right length and easily retracts back into the machine. I love the convenient storage for the small attachments, which are neatly contained on the back of the machine. The power of the machine belies the fact that it is consumer-grade. It produces plenty of steam to get the job done. The smaller attachments are great for getting in nooks and crannies, or irregularly shaped items. For example cleaning grates on HVAC vents. It could be very very difficult to get in all the slats with traditional cleaning equipment. The Little brush attachments with steam make quick work of the vents. We also had a bedbug scare. In the end we're not sure if we had them or not, but we had confidence that our bedroom was free of problems. This was a great way to avoid the use of toxic chemicals where we sleep. Using the steam cleaner combined with a little handheld carpet cleaner made quick work of spots in our carpet that we had been struggling with for years. We did have an issue with the electronics, but one call to the company, and it was covered under warranty. We had to pay for shipping, but the machine was quickly repaired and sent back to us. Customer service is excellent! It is very easy to reach a human, and they are great at following up on concerns. I always tried calling tech support or customer service for any product. But living in North America when you call the number you get a real live person in Scottsdale, Arizona. We highly recommend Vapamore and the MR100!

Just do it, you won't regret it.
I don't know why I didn't get one of these sooner. Since I got it, it's seen nearly as much use as my vacuum. I originally got this to do auto detailing, but use it for just about everything now. Tile and wood floors get much cleaner than a regular mop or swiffer, carpet spot removal is a breeze. I steamed several "dry clean only" coats, a leather jacket, boots, shoes and waders; all came out exceptionally well. This thing took out wrinkles in curtains that I hadn't managed to get out with a conventional iron. Using this on windows is a touch messy, but the results are worth it. Bathrooms are now properly clean too. For the car, I have used it on leather seats, steering wheel, carpets, headliner, engine bay, windows, sun roof and tried it on wheel barrels. The only place on the car it did not meet or exceed my hopes were the wheel barrels which had baked on brake dust and tar. for the car's carpeting, I actually prefer the results from steaming over shampooing. It's also a bit more effective at blowing dust and dirt out of nooks and crannies than compressed air. I did dry this on some painted surfaces so you don't have to: for automotive paint and the like it's OK to use in small doses to clean out crevices without rubbing, but for wall paint (at least latex, I don't have any enamel)...just don't do it, the combination of heat and rubbing/pressure will peel it right off. I have a couple spots on my walls to repaint because this softened it enough that it just peeled off. Of course, if your goal is to remove latex paint, this works pretty well. This is "dry" steam, which isn't actually dry but the meaning of "dry steam" isn't what many people suspect. The meaning is actually based on the water content, and this produces relatively little water for what it does. The inclusion of the pressure adjustment is a very nice touch and I was a bit worried that the adjustment know would affect temperature and not just pressure but res assured; it is pressure only. The adjustment knob is one area that could use a bit of improvement: it works opposite of what you'd think (clockwise reduces steam output), it isn't a single turn knob so there's no easy way to tell what setting it is at; mine turns about 4 rotations. The adjustment is also a bit finicky: from maximum, it stays nearly at max pressure for one turn, then the next turn is the rest of the pressure range and the following 2 turns are basically off. There is no level meter, but the drop in pressure at the end of a tank is very noticable, and if you drain it all the way you'll hear the unit click which is probably the solenoid closing to regulate pressure. I didn't investigate because I wanted to make sure I didn't burn up the element so I quickly turned the unit off. At first heat up and if you have left the unit on but sitting for several minutes you will get some burst of water out of the nozzle, there's not a while lot that they can do about this so just keep a rag handy. Pressure is around 58psi on a non-low tank, which is plenty to blast dust and debris out of crevices; in my engine bay it handily blasts off most caked on dirt, only requiring scrubbing for heavy dirt. As far a being chemical free, this helps you deliver on that concept, but for some things it will make less aggressive chemicals work better. Build quality isn't the best but it's by no means cheap. The only Time I thought the build quality could be better is when working on floors; the extension tubes fit together well, but the joints flex a bit when mopping. I'm not worried about any of the attachments breaking under normal use. The rubber grip on the handle is just stuck on over some plastic ribs so that if it ever falls off, you'll see some discomfort from them. I would like to see a triangle head attachment like many other steamers have, and the garment attachment (the one I use the most) would be better if they redesigned it with clips to allow you to use your own cloths. The garment cloth seems pretty cheap at first, but if you're careful with it you'll get plenty of use out of one before needing replacement. I save mine for actual garment and have fashioned a way to wrap a rag around the head and hold it on with one finger. Oh, and the rubber squeegee is removable from the garment head, do this when you're not using the squeegee. Another niggle is that there is no place to store the grout brush in the unit without displacing one of the other brushes. Now, some people think I'm crazy for using this on leather; trust me, I'm not. The thing is, you have to know what type of leather you're working with and how to treat it. Do NOT use this on suede or untreated leather. to test, put a small drop of water on the leather and wipe it off after a second or two; if the water soaks in it is untreated, if you have no soaking or very little, it is treated. For treated leathers I lightly/sparingly spray some heavily diluted all purpose cleaner on the leather, work it in lightly with a leather brush and then use the garment attachment with low steam and fast motion, followed by quickly wiping down the area I just steamed and then condition the leather after I'm sure everything has dried (leatherique is a great product to use for this, much better than lexol). The leather seats in my car were all pretty stiff and shiny (they're not supposed to be shiny), and had no texture. After using this method the grain of the leather could be felt again, and the gloss on the leather was returned to nearly the factory matte finish. Don't leave the steamer on leather too long because you can burn it, and for anything that wrapped around foam, keep in mind that most foams don't like steam either as it will work like a sponge and hold onto the water. With enough water in the foam you're then looking at mold and mildew, which the steamer will kill, but then you're feeding more water into the foam for it to mildew later (see the cycle?) Overall, I am extremely happy with this unit and would buy another in a heartbeat. If I was buying a steamer for a single purpose, I may go for something cheaper but this thing has the best price to performance ratio on the market. The only thing that would really make me move to something nicer would be if I ever needed continuous fill, but at nearly an hour per fill I see no need for that any time soon. I was able to steam most of my engine and the entire interior of the car with just over half a tank. Update after 10 months: Still love it, still no problems. The garment bonnet is a little thinner but still works great. I can honestly say that this thing has revolutionized how I clean...everything. I have yet to find a singe reasonable task that is hasn't done the job well. Using it in the engine compartment of the car makes the job so much easier, and it gets wrinkles out of curtains faster than I could do it with an iron. Nothing has broken or even shown signs of wear yet and I use it very regularly

I did a lot of research before I purchased this unit. I have a disability and was looking for something that would help me clean without having to be aggressive with scrubbing or chemicals. This unit is very sturdy and well built. I love how many attachments there are for different uses. The grout brush works amazing! I have tried a number of chemicals and brushes and scrubbing my grout only to have almost nothing happen. A little pressure and steam brought it back to new! I was sold on this unit right there. I have 5 boys love that I can just steam away germs and bacteria on every surface without effort. I literally walked around the house looking for everything I could use it on and tested it. The unit is small enough that it followed me without effort. The grime I got out of the areas of the stove that are unreachable by other means (seams, hinges) was amazing. Who knew that was hiding in there. It blew the grime off my chrome racks inside the oven with ease. Can't wait to try it on the car and the motorcycles. The self stow away cord is a big plus for me as well as the storage for the attachments. The ease of use and instructions show thought went into this. The first couple of times of use there was a strong foul smell of rubber. I attributed this to it's being new and no different to the "burning off" you get with other new items like a frying pan. The smell eventually went away as it was used more. I would have to say the only thing I did not like is the lack of water fill gauge. I have no idea how much water is left in the unit and have a couple of times overfilled. Considering it's just water, it wasn't really a big deal but a water fill gauge would make this unit perfect! Not having to buy chemicals for cleaning is a huge money saver and will pay for the unit itself over time. I have no doubt this unit, if taken care of, will last a very long time. Do give this unit time to heat the water properly before trying to use it otherwise you will not get the full effect of it's intentions. The price may seam high compared to other units of this type, but don't be fooled. The quality is obvious and cost is comparable to a vacuum which can do far less. I'm sure I will find endless uses for this and am excited to see what it can accomplish on autos. If you are looking to purchase a steam cleaner, look no further than this one. You will not be disappointed!

Tried my new Vapamore steam cleaner for the first time today.. and could not stop cleaning with it. First, the kitchen cupboards .. especially along the wood trim.. where grime collects and is so hard to remove.. then, the ceiling over the stove.. with the micro fiber floor cleaning tool.. then, the lino floors.. next, the bathroom toilet.. ( especially at the back of the toilet seat.. where the hinges are hiding lots of grime and germs. )... onwards to the tub / shower tiles... and more floors. The steam cleaning machine , worked at very high pressure steam... for just under an hour.. with a single / litre fill of the distilled water. ( there were gallon jugs for just over $2 at the grocery store.) The machine is easy to glide along where ever needed.. with very sturdy wheels.. and an 18 foot retractable cord. There are 18 accessory parts.. including the tool bag.. micro fiber cloths.. measure cup and all the special brushes etc. The steam machine is fairly quiet... nothing for eg. like a vacuum cleaner etc... I did an hour of online research.. prior to selecting this model.. and I am so happy with it. It has a lifetime warranty.. but does appear to be very well made.. so do not expect any issues. It apparently contains a stainless steel internal Boiler. I could not be any more pleased at the effective steam cleaning power of this amazing machine.

I absolutely love this machine!! It's nice and compact which is great for my small apartment. It has so many useful accessories. I bought it for the primary use of killing bed bugs. They were baffling me as I never found them when inspecting my mattress and box spring. It turns out that they were hiding right under the sideboards. So I used the smallest nozzle to steam under the boards and it seems to have killed them all. I also steamed my bed, pillows and sofa and since then I haven't seen a single bug, egg or got any bites. I am so relieved! Now I use this machine for everything - yesterday I cleaned my oven which hadn't been cleaned before I moved in so who knows how many years of grease and dirt was on there. I used the brass brush and now the oven looks brand new! I use it weekly to clean the floors, kitchen and bathroom. It heats up quickly and it really makes everything so easy to clean, and its kind of addictive to use, I love it!

First Impressions (I have had the unit for a week) BEFORE WE START THE PROS AND CONS, PLEASE TAKE SAFETY WARNINGS SERIOUSLY. I BURNED MY HAND 2ND USE; IT gets boiling. Pros It belts out steam. It's relatively portable (I am a senior and can manage it without a problem). For $500 Canadian, it appears well made, especially the heating or central unit. On a tank of 1400 ml, you get a lot of mileage, about 50 mins. There is an assortment of useful attachments. Overall I recommend this unit. Cons You have to tip the unit over to empty - awkward. Some of the assembly pipes have a definite click reassuring when dealing with hot steam - but some of the parts have no actual click leaving you guessing. MASSIVE INCONVENIENCE, NO WAY OF KNOWING WHEN YOU CAN REMOVE THE CAP TO REFILL VERY AMBIGUOUS AND NEEDS PROMPT, IN MY OPINION. Accessory pads (2 types), which you need because there is quite a bit of water, are horrendously expensive if you factor in freight quite outrageous. In addition, you only get one of each with the initial purchase. OVERALL. I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS UNIT.

Not what expected. Does the job on steam cleaning the floor and upholstery. But does not work well on cleaning grout on tile. Impossible to empty out remaining water. So it ends up sitting in there. Handles feels like cheap plastic.
