Civil War - BLURAY, Digital, 4K ULTRA HD

A unique film and interesting to see what the country would be like if it would fall into a civil war again. Honestly it's a scary thought altogether because sometimes it seems like our country is on the brink of it in reality. I really enjoyed this film and I'm glad I purchased it. Arrived super fast and in brand new condition. Case wasn't busted or anything.

Reviewing the product, 5 stars. No issues. Fast delivery. Good price. The movie 6/10. Lots of hype. Interesting premise feeding off the current political climate. A few tense scenes, mixed with a lot of slow moving. Felt like a coming of age buddy movie road trip, mixed with seemingly random action parts. Then it was political wish fantasy as the evil would be dictator meets his end. Overall, slightly above meh. Worth a watch at least for the fantasy portion.

Lets say this about this movie as it was very intense it was something that I hope does not ever happen here in the USA although in todays current time who knows. The actors were wonderful in this movie. There was one part that was very uncomfortable to watch but it needed to be there.

This could have been a real interesting movie to play out a scenario of risks of a civil war. Spoiler Alert: The movie did NOT even bother to explain what could have led to a civil war. The film stated that California and Texas ceased to be part of the USA. Another film fantasy of California and Texas agreeing on something. Texas tried this succession in 1861, (7th state to do this at that time), but was mostly symbolic. Pres. Lincoln kept the county together in the end. The film could have talked about this period but didn't. That would have been a more interesting and more of a true historical story. The film underlines the notion that there was an authoritarian federal government (plausible, but doesn't state what made them that way); and it was led by a third-term president (not plausible). In fact, the movie had little to do with actual war/ combat. The movie was really about a group of not-too-bright reporters, and their personal stories taking pictures and putting themselves in the middle of scant ‘war’ events. The film was a complete disappointment. There was very little character development with all C-List actors. It looked like the movie was thrown together in a week. In the early part of the movie, a young white college-age woman is seen running with the American flag and blows herself up in a crowd. Any examples of that in real life? None. The movie doesn't even bother to explain what was her cause or purpose that led to this? It seemed like the director’s bias on Americans in general. There were a few scenes of military fighting with random citizens but no bother to explain why they were fighting, their cause, and no character development here either. What made the film even worse was listening to the interviews (on the BD-DVD) with the "Stars" and the director who pushed this fantasy that what they were filming was 'actually happening right now,' citing "J6." What was worse, is during the (BD-DVD) interview, the director and the young gal reporter actually believe their false narratives. This movie should be redone by an A-list director, A-list writer, A-list special effect team, and focus on a real plausible story-line.

Seemingly a polarizing movie... it is a slow roll, and no start to finish action to be found. I've found it visually appealing outside of the storyline. The audio is well done. And I enjoy the slow burn story telling, though would have enjoyed seeing a little more "world-building".

This movie is fantastic, and a little scary that it's so close to reality right now. But the Set was amazing. We went to the movie in theaters and loved it so much that I had to order a physical 4K for our home theater. It looks and sounds even better at home!

No voy a hablar de la película, la calidad de audio y video son lo que esperaba, la compré porque me gustó en el cine y punto, mi review es respecto al artículo y el servicio, de los cuales tengo sentimientos encontrados: el blu ray es de importación, la calidad del case es muy mala, el soporte para los discos queda muy flojo por lo que se sueltan fácilmente, el empaque venía bien, la caja por fuera está bien pero claramente se sentía que algo dentro se movía, al abrirla ambos discos estaban sueltos y, por supuesto, maltratados, incluso con huellas digitales, lo cual es muy sospechoso; probé el disco 4k para ver si tenía problemas al reproducirlo, hacia el final de la película tiene un salto y distorsión de imagen, quise solicitar un reemplazo y únicamente tenía la opción de devolución, contacté a soporte y una chica muy amable me dijo que se podía hacer la devolución y conservar el artículo, así que al final me quedé con la película aunque estuviera maltratada. 🤷🏻‍♂️
