Harmful Ingredients
I have been taking OmniBiotic for the past month as recommended by my pharmacist. I have just purchased the second bottle and noticed some worrying factors in the ingredients section. Firstly, the formula contains Manganese Sulphate which is a toxic substance! Further on, it contains Maltodextrin which suppresses the growth of good bacteria in the gut and can increase intestinal inflammation (I wonder why would they put such an ingredient in a formula that is supposed to help gut bacteria). Then there is also Magnesium Sulphate which is classified as a high-alert medication which has the potential to cause significant harm by The Institute for Safe Medication Practices and is unsafe to use by pregnant women (even though the label on the product claims that it is safe to use by pregnant women). I have contacted the manufacturer for clarification and will update my review if I get a reply.
