They will not leak. 3 The canisters are a beautiful color of dark copper. They look great with light countertops! 4 The canisters arrived very well wrapped. Some of the tissue paper was stuck to the canisters, but easily removed with a damp paper towel. 5 The canisters were just what I was looking for. I have no complaints, and I like these very much.

It looks much nicer than I would ever have imaged! The containers are very intricate and richly detailed, in an aged-bronze-brown color wich an elegant gloss, the lids close tightlyvia a fine rubber ring. I'm very happy about this container set - especially because it arrived in Germany flawless undamaged! Many thanks for this deal!

This lovely new addition to my kitchen far exceeds my expectations. This 4-piece canister set is not only beautifully well-crafted but also well-designed for optimal function. Each piece radiates a copper-bronze finish with a smooth, black interior and has a generous capacity with slightly flared sidewalls for quick, easy access and to minimize spillage. Each container's lid has a wide, stretchable plastic band for sealing purposes but may be removed for quicker access to its contents. The decorative grapevine detailing around the center of each piece also helps with gripping and handling. The set is stackable, occupying very little space when transported or stored unused. Mine will remain on the countertop! I highly recommend this product. It is a great value for the price.

I should have put more trust in the 99% negative reviews instead of going with the 1% good reviews. As always Amazon was timely with their shipment, I never question that or the packaging. The products was awful, lids that didn't fit- (which was the main reasons for the neg reviews), the black coating chipped even after screwing on the knobs to the tops, the sizes of the 4 canisters were not gradual in size but more like one big one and 3 smaller ones - they didn't look right together on the counter. Pretty to look at in the picture, not so pretty in person. Not for food storage unless what you're packaging is in plastic, good size for storing stamps, or other light office supplies. Why did I think 'my' canisters would be any different from any others? They are pretty to look at on-line but that's where the attraction should end.

I am storing my flour, sugar, brown sugar & tea bags. I bake a lot & so it is great to have these basic ingredients handy on my counter.
