Orbit Single Watch Winder for Mechanical Watch Quiet Motor Fit Lady Man for Rolex and Most

My husband owns both a Rolex and a Chopard watch for various occasions. As a birthday gift, I surprised him with this sleek orbit watch winder. We opted for the first program, which rotates for two minutes, pauses, and then repeats. Throughout this process, the ring continuously changes direction. It's been running flawlessly for a week now, and my watch remains perfectly accurate without needing any adjustments when worn. The winder is user-friendly; you simply place the watch into the small hole, and it holds it securely in place. The motor operates quietly, barely noticeable. Moreover, it adds a touch of elegance to our living room decor.

When rotating in only the clockwise position, the ‘brushless’ winder makes the most annoying clicking/ticking noises. Simply HAVE to return.

I was surprised to find my Orbit watch winder sounds different depending on what surface it sits on - must be how sound travels through materials! After some experimenting, I placed it on a soft pad and the motor noise became nearly silent. Now it runs quietly in my bedroom at night. As someone sensitive to noise, this was a game-changer. Definitely one of the better watch winders for automatic watches I've owned - does its job well without being obtrusive. The adjustable settings are great too!

After three weeks I found my watch dead as the machinery was stuck. As I opened it up a screw fell out. I fixed it with some super glue and it's working again but I stained the chrome from using pliers to get the screw back in and from the glue. Not very impressed with the workmanship!

The product is very "eye appealing " ,and well built. Just one problem I found was when the winder is going around the watch holder slips out of the holder and "jams " against the workings.

So I really wanted something sort of steampunk as a watch, but the best I could do was a Bulova Skeleton which was still pretty conventional. Seeing it in this whirling around above my desk totally scratched that itch. The Good : Watch seems in there firmly. Movement is fun. Watch winds (which I guess is the actual purpose). The Bad : The push button for three settings has almost zero feedback so you're kind of crossing your fingers that it registered your 1-3 clicks. It's not loud, but you definitely hear it. It's fine for my purposes, but I wouldn't have it on my nightstand. Durability is obviously a crapshoot at this point with just a couple reviews.

Worked nicely at fist, but less than 4 months in the gears started grinding. Now it is very loud and does not work properly. It has been at the slowest speed and never obstructed. I'm quite dissipointed for the money.

Day 1, this watch winder looks great, feels substantial, and works. I'm not sure how position 1 is 650 TPD but only time will tell. Calling this premium or silent is a stretch. It's cheap, gold-painted plastic arms (yes, with a real glass lid, great), the watch straps wiggle in the holder of the gyro close to falling out, the motor hums, the gyro is spun with an ugly black plastic arm, sometimes it's stopping short of its index position and due to the unfitting holder the whole gyro wiggles when its going over its tipping point. For 20€ I would may be be fine with it, but definitely not for 109€, it just looks and feels incredibly cheap, basically like a cheap souvenir snow globe. Technically it works, so 2 stars? Don't know
