This stuff is great. I tried shop bought from Tesco which is fine but no good for big bubbles so did some research and tried to make my own with a variety of weird and wonderful ingredients ranging from baking powder, corn starch, ky jelly ... It didn't come close to this stuff which is absolutely brilliant with my home made bubble wand (same basic principle as Dr Zigs ones). My only problem is closing the bubble but I think thats down to technique. The only possible problem with this is cost as its not very cheap (over £10 for a litre when you include packaging). However, I like it so much I'm going to buy the triple concentrate which can be mixed with water to give 3 litres worth as this should cut down on post costs (just bought it and its eligible for free super saver delivery so even better) . I can't wait to play with this on our camping holiday in wales in a few weeks - its for the kids not me, honest.

This bubble mix does great bubbles, HUGE bubbles! The fact that the refil comes so strongly concentrated and in a squared bottle is genius!!

I’ve had these before and they really are great strong bubbles. My quibble is that £11 is a bit pricey for something that doesn't last half an hour. I’ve used them before with the big bubble sticks and no mixture was wasted - even so the 1 litre bottle was gone in under 30 minutes.I was impressed they came inside what looked like a plastic bag and then a box. However the bag had a sticker saying it was a compostable cellophane.

Bought this to go with the giant bubble making kit. This really does make big bubbles, robust bubbles, the only slight downside is that you go through this stuff so fast, like an hour later and it is all gone, lots of fun to be had though. Pricey, but the kids (and big kids) loved it.

This tiny bottle of concentrated mixture makes 1 litre of just normal bubble mix which makes it very expensive for what it is. It doesn’t work well with wands so don’t purchase for this reason either.

Yes - it is a good bubble mixture for making large bubbles. Yes I'm happy to accept that it might nave been specially formulated for colour. But bubble mixture is essentially water, detergent and glycerin and will have cost a tiny fraction of its retail price to manufacture. Even with transport and promotion costs on top, this still doesn't represent very good value for money. After three short bubble making sessions there is only one third left. It has worked out at about 15p per bubble so far. I will be making my own from now on.

This creates huge bubbles using a big bubble sword and they last too. You might find that they don't work so well in bubble machines because the quality is so good that the bubbles all join together! If you want great big bubble magic then this is the solution for you.

Very good bubble mix. Wife is very happy playing with the bubbles, and so would anyone else if they got a look-in haha.Bubble mixture is good, creates long lasting bubbles, only downside, and sadly it is a fairly big downside, is the price. Because it creates good bubbles, you want to play more, so product runs out quickly. Cheaper options can be found.

I had to laugh when this bottle arrived, it’s about the same size as a deck of cards. Maybe it was the photos, but I was expecting something bigger - that’ll teach me not to check the size before purchasing. It’s a pretty expensive way to make bubbles.

Best big bubbles in town! We were pleasantly surprised!!! The only downside was that the mixture was too thick to work with our regular bubble machine, but we will definitely order again.
